Not to mention ulduar is really LONG. I never farm mimirons head. Longest raids I farm are the nighthold and ICC

Thank you for the guide, it is amazing to see there is an option to get this beauty of a model outside the bad raid RNG drops. I adored these mounts since the initial patch datamining post on wowhead etc, and was so hoping these would the Glory meta raid mounts, like the Sargeras Hounds where, but oh well I will be working to obtain for this one for sure.

Damn it. I wasn't going to play TWW,but that mount is too cool.

I use both depending on the pun I'm trying to make. "You're chittin' me" is going to be used a lot this expansion.

omfg this thing looks awesome. And I'm so here for a grind that will take all first season if not longer!

Theres gonna be groups grinding the mobs for like 4-8 weeks at least at high frequency so I wouldnt worry about that part

Okay so these quests are so good like you do insane grind but you have 100% chance to get the mount. This is good

What I just heard is "get a quest from a rare spawn and slowly complete thos over time."

The crackling shards makes me think of the red wind dragon from MoP.

Somewhat similar I agree, with the acquisition but the SL quests for that were quick to do each day at least, the quests for this take hours

probably some farming tips. do it with a double prof toon. tailor + inscription or skinning + inscription. u'll make profit while grinding

Very Kaiju coded. Would love to see it at say Deathwing scale.

Do you know if the rare scales with level? Is it considered a "group" rare that you probably can't even solo? Thinking of dropping by to check it early after launch just to try to get the initial item. Might as well make the farm part of my leveling if possible :D

Pretty sure its a level 80 rare and would be very difficult to solo even at 80, majority of people wont be able to

tbh, id rather grind for a 100% chance mount than kill 1 mob on a week spawn timer. besides im quite sure ill be killing massive amounts of these things anyway so i cant wait to get it going. doesnt seem like it took you THAT long. but we'll see once live happens thanks for the vid

Do you need to be level 80 to get the vial?

potentially, the vial does have a min level of 78 for the quest currently but that doesnt guarantee it can drop below 80 however.

Bound on Pickup or Equip`?

This is a mount that isn’t intended to be farmed unless you want it asap. You’ll eventually get it once you have the blood without seeking it out.

Not so sure about that, from my day to day gameplay i only got the first quest to around 100 before I started to target grind it and this included a lot of testing and grinding random things to try and figure out other stuff within the expansion. Getting the zones faction the Severed Threads to 25/25 renown wouldn't have you killing enough mobs to complete the first quest, in the current state of things anyway

Then I worded it poorly. That was weeks of day to day gameplay and testing that a typical player wouldnt do and I only had 100 of the first quest, just the first quest. Completing the zone wouldn't get you enough to finish the first quest, so at that point where are you getting them from? The next tier will most likely have us move away from nerubian enemies and thus you dont have a reason to kill them or obtain the items anymore. So no as things stand you arent getting it eventually unless youre actively trying to get it eventually which would mean youre seeking it out

"likely" which means we currently dont know and wasn't something I could test so between us its a complete guess. If the quest follows other typical non raid quests then you'll get none, the drops could also be similar rates to my farming of elite mobs in Ara Kara which also would make it not good enough but they could also drop 100 per kill magically , no point in arguing an unknown

Im still hoping they will add the orange color variant - it looks so nice and so far i think they left it out :(
