If she was as elegant as patsy cline she’d take off the piercings and have no tattoos. As far as Skynyrd goes, crap on the modern band all you want but 1976 skynyrd runs laps around most any rock band.

I am a little surprised there wasn't an unusual taxidermied animal of some sort.

I am an old woman named after my grandmothers and I collect the same kind of thingies as Sierra Elizabeth Ferrell. Like that lovely tin and vintage (old) clothing. Rocks. Shells. Glass thingies. Plants.Toy woodland animals. Most people think I am a hoarder but my stuff makes me happy too. I live in the woods so they don't bother me ...much. Sierra makes me happy cry.

I've got a similar collection of oddities. I think for me, growing up fairly fast and having some strained relationships with family, I found a lot of solace in having the right things around, making the energy in my space feel a bit more homey than it might have. Nothing wrong with having thingies that make you feel good. We all have to do what we need to in order to cultivate a space that works for us, and that's different for everyone. Also, when I started reading this, I thought you were Bonnie Raitt, if you get the reference to the John Denver song haha. Cheers sister! ❤❤❤

In my youth I played simple chords on guitar and my Mom loved Angel from Montgomery. Our family was pretty musical and knew all the old and new ones then. Glad I grew up during the folk/ country/ southern rock era. You know the words and they mean something. John Prine. Johnny Cash. John Denver. Sierra Ferrell.

Young at heart! Some of us stay youthful for quite a while longer and I believe we tend to have a stronger zest for life and curiosity that doesn’t fade like it does in some adults.
