💥SIEGE - Documentary film by Julien Bryan about the German invasion and siege of Warsaw in 1939 (PL)
➡ In September 1939, an American documentary filmmaker and photographer Julien Bryan was the only foreign correspondent accredited in Warsaw. 📸 He managed to take hundreds of photographs documenting the siege of Warsaw and to shoot a few hours of film material of bombings, collapsing houses and hospitals, human bodies lying in the streets, the building of barricades, the tragedy of civilians, the German strength and brutality❗
🎞 The film tapes were then used to produce the film "Siege", depicting the heroic struggle of Warsaw’s inhabitants. 🗣 About Poles Bryan said: "If the Spartans were to come back to life, Poles would bow their heads to you."
📽 The film was screened in American cinemas in the spring of 1940. It received the American Film Academy Oscar nomination in 1941 in the ‘best short documentary’ film category.

Unprovoked? After WWI the Allies stole land from Germany that was always German and contained German people. Learn your history.

The seloP (right/left) seized land from the Soviets, seized land from the Lithuanians, seize Zaolzie from the Czech, had a border dispute wit the Slovaks, threatened to shot with ships guns into the buildings of Gdansk, were in conflict with the Germans.

Thus the seloP were attacked by the Germans, by the Slovaks and by the Soviets. Others assisted moraly.

Wow, I’ll do my best to not let the world forget
Widziałem dłuższy odcinek Juliana (tam też były sceny, które teraz nie przejdą na KZread). Trwał 48 minut. Sceny rodzenia i sceny śmierci. Ten materiał, jest mocno delikatniejszy. Pozdrawiam :) To Najlepszy reportaż historyczny, tego reportera wojennego.

@@454lian jakoś nie widziałem barykad w czeskiej Pradze, bombardowania Luksemburga, albo łapanek w Paryżu. Polacy uwierzyli w sanacyjne brednie i dali się wkręcić w maszynkę do mięsa.
