He is considered one of the most famous and versatile actors of India. He is not just some actor who portrayed mola ram he is mr amrish puri and now his grandson acts in Indian movies too
Happy thanks giving everybody, stay safe and enjoy the holiday!
This is super underrated! For an older statue it’s quality and detail is great. Nowadays maybe more plain but you can’t deny it was ahead of its time
I remember watching Indiana Jones when I was 6. Dope piece!
What a cool piece! I've just started watching your videos and I'm really enjoying them. Keep up the great work :)
Cool. You are right that a light up effect with the hand would have been really cool.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours im grateful for this fire ass channel
That intro was hilarious lol.
It’s cool how they used fabric for his robe and cape, but it would be really cool if they could make it removable like switch outs. Then u can have different costume switch outs as well.
An iconic Indian actor. Would love to own this someday.
Man...i watched this movie so many times as a kid. Great statue of you're collecting movie pieces.
A grail to me always kept looking at this in background so glad you reviewed it loved this film growing up
Old school Mola Ram... nice! Fully creeped me out as a kid. Indie's little karate kicking side-kick, 'Short Round', was a scene stealer. Kind of... haha
Another walk down memory lane here mate classic movies that scared me as a young lad lol
Ahhhh childhood memories. So many quotes from this movie I still remember to this day. “Drop them Dr. Jones! They will be found. You won’t!” Or my personal favorite “Om-no-shi-bai, Om-no-shi-bai, Om-no-shi-bai”-(as the poor dude’s heart is about to be pulled out). 😧
Pretty cool piece!
COOL, I PREFERED RAIDERS. YEAH I HAD HARRISON FORD WALKING STRAIGHT TOWARDS ME IN A CROWD IN NEW YORK CITY. NOBODY RECOGNIZED HIM. HE NOTICED THAT I DID, AND GAVE ME HIS SIGNATURE GRIN. HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY.👊🏽
Love that piece! Happy Thanksgiving Mr X
Loved Indiana Jones and the temple of Doom. My favorite of the set. They did his statue so good. Great piece
As a fellow Indian I'm so proud of this statue was made. One of the all-time greatest villains. Amrish Puri is indeed the GOAT. RIP Legend.
I like that you were reviewing an older statue this time. I agree, this one is probably just for a die hard Indy collector. The face on his head piece looks like Ving Rhames.
Killer opening:) This is a super impressive statue, I think it highlights the character perfectly
Love the movie and this piece. Thx. Mr.X.
Really well done
Must have for an Indiana Jones fan and collector. 👍🏻
Great review.
Haunting intro with that classic chant, I didn't think you could get creepier Mr X! :-) Love this piece, I'm sure you have the Indy PF to go with him and would make a fantastic display, congrats man!

Scratch that, commented too soon, you've sold it already!! :-)
Happy turkey day Mr X. I like the nixed media though I do think a repaint would be in order but the form and sculpt is there.
Thought this was James Earl Jones in the Exorcist II at first. lmao.
The bit where he grabs the guys heart was always cut out when it was shown on tv here in the UK.
Statue is classic. I almost bought this back in the day where statues cost $300 or less
I think it's ab underrated statue and plus never knew anyone would sculpt such a statue as this one which makes it different. I like it it reminds me at the time in the 5th grade my 5th grade teacher did a movie day in class to watch the Temple of Doom for the first or second time because how cool or scary the movie was. I like mixed media on statues as well too it's cool. I remember how mesmerized i was to see the ripping of the heart scene was and the part when Mola Ram fell to his death when the alligators ripped him to shreds in the water at the end of the movie. Have the Temple of Doom movie at home and to me it is my favorite Indiana Jones film because of this character and my favorite villain in the movie as well not to mention nostalgic growing up in the '80's, watching the movie at young age being scared of the villain lol. Overall this statue is a grail a very rare piece to come around especially when it's under the radar to some collectors. Cool review.
For an older statue, it still looks really good. I agree you would have to have this with Indiana Jones.
nice piece!
Great video bud, not sure about the oldies but xm currently just teased a DC 1/4 line!!
I’m not a fan of mixed media because I always worry the fabric won’t age well. But the fabric of this piece looks pretty good, all things considered. Wasn’t a fan of the movie when I first saw it back in the 80s and 90s, but it has grown on me and I can definately appreciate its charm at my old age. Especially when you compare to how bad movies are nowadays. It certainly aimed for shock factor, but also had substance and character.
I don't know this character well, but the statue looks very interesting, thanks for the review !!!
That Scorpion statue is cool
Indian Jones 2 scared the crap out of me as a kid as well, great statue though!
I'd agree with 4/5 the mix media is actually done well on this piece!
Now this is awesome
Looks pretty good man
Love it! I'll buy that from you.
Easily my favorite indiana jones movie. Very kool statue.
Nothing beats a classic
If your an IAJ fan, this would be a cool piece.....Im curious to see how many people recognize the character off of first glance.
Thanks!
He just freaks me out for some reason. Definitely spot on as of the dudes look in the movie.
Love this movie after seeing it with my sisters i would do the heart out of the chest move and they would bug out thinking it was going to work lol awesome statue and another great review
Should have bought this guy from you! Sick!!!
The heart rip out scared me when I was little too ! Still am not sure if the hearts actually turned into stones or if that was a trick by this guy.
I loved your scene display it matches what you do
The statue looks cool 🔥🔥
Indiana Jones movies are one of my favorites growing up temple of doom was a great movie statue us pretty cool too it’s like he jumped off the screen
That intro lol
Even for a older piece I still think it would make a neat addition to anyone’s collection
For it's age this one looks pretty good.
always liked the movies. nice statue
Very iconic and it’s nice
That intro was kinda creepy my dude. I was like wtf he doing lol.
Good likeness.
Man, haven't watched Temple of doom in years.
A good statue for what is kinda an obscure character in the trilogy.
Nice
I love family guys cutaway reference to this character
love the movies not sure if i would get any statues from the movies . not a fan of ultra realistic statues and mixed media . but a great piece
I’m new to the statue game, I don’t know any of the older statues
Cool movie item
One day mr x is gonna say this statue stole someone's heart literally
I like all the first three Indiana Jones movies I think he was a cool villain and the statue represents him well. I always liked how they paid homage to Star Wars with club Obi-Wan bar in the movie that you can miss it if you're not paying attention.
Temple of Doom was a great movie. This looks like a very detailed statue....I agree he needs to be standing next a Indiana statue to look better. The portrait is nice the base is also quite nice to look at. 4/5 is a fair rating on this piece. Another great video Mr.X take care stay safe to you and the whole family
Crazy.
That was such a great movie!
They nailed this one.
how great were the first 3 movies. so friggin great. wicked figure. not as cool as the transformers but still cool.
Definitely would be better if it had a Harrison companion piece.
Pcs mortal kombat 1/3 scales are so under rated
I agree, least favorite of the first three films and Mola Ram is not an iconic character in movie history. However, it is a really well done statue and I even like the mixed media on this piece. I think an Indiana Jones fan would love this piece. Happy Thanksgiving and GOD Bless You and the X-Fam as always Brother!
Watch out he’ll take your heart
Temple of doom is my favourite Indiana Jones
I alway loved that film
Good movie masterpiece hard to believe it's from Sideshow.

Yes. We discussed it in the live chat last night
That’s a great statue
2nd best Indiana Jones film
I agree that this piece need a compagnion for it to be great in a collection, he is just not that iconic. The mix media look great tho
Happy Turkey Day!!!
Shouldve had a monkey skull/brain proximity piece.
This is a very creepy statue. I like it...
Love that movie still so quotable
The first Indiana Jones was the best
Okay don’t ban me from the channel but I’ve never seen the Indiana Jones movies! Are they good ?

Weekend goals
Okay looking, not for me. Thanks for the video Mr.X.
Feels like a niche statue
Not for me but a cool piece if you want a memento of the movie. Cheers, 8-)
Like you said the concept of the base is cool, but the execusion is flat, those skull look weird
a classic, but yes it would probably be best if Jones was by his side.
Not my cup of tea but it looks good.
Yeah if you only have him as a stand alone piece it doesn’t make sense.
Really old indeed
