There was a sidemen video awhile ago (sidemen v w2s football challenge vid I think) and JJ was good in goal, he made a couple great saves so I was expecting him to be decent. XQC was actually better than I thought he would be though.

Especially since I don't think it's great at grading quality of shot. He did "worse" than the goalies last season, but the quality of shots were considerably higher (or sabotaged by own team).

He at least dove for the shots and it showed that he was genuinely trying. Got to give it to him considering it's his first time in net. He only practiced 3 days before the game. If he does more practicing throughout the year, he may get called up again for next year.

The whole Sidemen team was superb this year and I think KSI might be way better in the goal than out there. The highlights didn't do him much justice but he's had quite a few fantastic saves.

I feel like jj is naturally lucky

Credit to them all it was 30 degrees outside the stadium so you can imagine how hotter it was inside the stadium too plus horrendously humid. Particularly the YTAS were really struggling second half as they had less players in their squad. So some of the guys were really struggling through the 2nd half with the heat. I would really like for them to give XQC another go next year and give him proper time to train for it. Got to remember he brings a lot of eyes to this event and helps raise even more for charity! 2.7 million concurrent viewers is absolutely wild!
