Like i get being sober if you have a problem dealing with alcohol and stuff but like if you're normal i really don't see why depriving yourself of a good time would be that cool i only drink when i go out clubbing and i've never had a problem. I think the problem lies with people that drink everyday or almost everyday then when they go out they get smashed because they've built up a resistance and by the time they feel drunk they're actually smashed

The islamic perspective on everything in life is : If something is bad for you it is haram or not recommended or frowned upon, that is why pork which lives in dirtiness it's whole life is haram, and we are very thankful for this, we don't drink because it is NOT good for the health and we abstain from sexual relationships before marriage because settling down and marriage is 100x better for mental health and for the human as a whole.

alcohol shouldn't be called a 'good' time.. you're putting literal poison in your body + the hang overs are the WORST no level of alcohol consumption is safe nor should it be called a good thing we don't need it to live happily and we could defiantly live happily without it

I don't define alcohol as a "good time". Firstly it clouds your judgement which can lead to some very bad decisions. Secondly, the day after you get a hangover or whatever which is also annoying to deal with, i can go on but let's just say that there are reasons for alcohol not being permitted in Islam.

Nope, Islam considers anything that isnt good for the body Haram, and i have no problem with it. Alcohol is poison, the logic behind this is why, why would you make your body go through some harmful experience, pigs eat anything they stumble upon, which is why it is also forbidden, along many many other things. I can enjoy a lot of stuff in this life so why can i not abstain from getting poisonous stuff in my body, islam doesnt ask for much to be a practicing believer.

every religion is terrible tho.

@@BRAG3A No you can't say it with anything because it makes no sense. A generalisation is supposed to apply to most. Most men aren't criminals and most religious people aren't terrorists. Blame the criminals and the terrorists not entire groups who are innocent and have no such extremists beliefs. Praying isn't just about plans or asking for things. I pray giving gratitude everyday and there many other reasons. Religion does do positive things. It gives a lot of people propose and fulfillment. Encourages self discipline, charity, forgiveness, hard work etc. I think what's a shame is that you're so hateful towards an entire concept because of the actions of the comparatively few extremes
