When my Tav talked at 24:56, I fucking jumped on my chair. Never once did he talk before that, and never again after.... I was doing a Dark Urge run, so I thought "is my character becoming Independent ?" 😂

I just realized that the reason Minthara decides to suddenly throw a friendly party at your camp is so she can kill you and your group after you are drunk, surrounded by goblins, and exhausted (from all the sex).

Since I killed all of the goblins and destroyed all of their camp without even speaking to them I didnt even noticed someone named Minthara existed

The character speaks to themselves and has generic interactions with the party when walking around. When it comes to individual conversations they don't speak becauss that would mean having to record an insane amount of voice lines for all the different voices you can have

Darn, some of my favorite dialogue for Minthara was after the Persuasion option in her EA betrayal scene. Sucks that they changed it, although this probably makes more sense for her character and her faith in Act 1. I will miss how ride or die she was originally, though.

I have a question for the experts, I saved Minthara, she's in the camp I can talk to her BUT, SHE COMPLETELY DOES NOT SPEAK THE WHOLE TRIP AND HAS NOTHING TO SAY. Is this a bug? will she actually say nothing until the end of the game? It's exactly that Karlach, Shadowheart and Gith women, I get along, talk, cut in all the time when something doesn't suit them, and Minthara doesn't say anything and acts like a boot.

@@solaris4019 Minthara is currently bugged and a lot of her dialogue/romance isn't triggering. Fingers crossed she gets fully fixed soon!

When it came to True Soul parasites the first time I came across one and the guardian said to "open your mind to it". I ate it instead.... Guardian was like well that's one way.

I like how if you express feelings of guilt for betraying and murdering the tieflings Minthara doesn't call you weak or mock you, she attempts to comfort you

Since she had no control over her actions due to the influence of the Absolute through her tadpole. She mainly tries to kill you because of the absence being in your presence caused. She can be told of the artifact, but you can tell her that it's you that does that. It's pretty nice that the devs put the workaround to recruit her in a good playthrough. She is defiantly an interesting character.

In my previous playthrough when siding with Minthara and destroying the grove, Shadowheart and Astarion had a little dialogue. Something along the lines of: Astarion: goblins truly are vile creatures. Shadowheart: though clearly not the vilest we’ve seen today! Don’t know if they were talking about me or Minthara…

Yes you just need to side with her in moonrise tower, she sorta becomes free of Absolute influence because of the prism.

You can get her as a companion if you make some very specific choices, though she does not seem to have a dedicated romantic arc.

bro i just beat the game having maxed out my relationship status with minthara and there was absolutely nothing that happened. her dialogue is extremely disappointing after recruiting her later in the game

Thanks for this vid. Was interested in Minthara, but simply could not force myself to be so evil as to kill everybody in the groove. Btw she looks gorgeous, but her voice isn't super pleasant.

You don't have to . As soon as I went down to see the druids they have an ugly attitude so I attacked , then kaga leads them up to killall teflings . Then finish off whatever druids are left . Then when minthata goes there without having to fight them because they killed themselves.

@@OneSpikeyGuy Hehe ofc he doesnt. Im speaking of if you side with Minthara and the Goblins and kill the Druid Grove. There are celebrations at you camp after, just like when you side with Grove. I was merely wondering if Razzglin showed up for the celebrations.

Spoiler alert So there is a route where you don't kill her and she tells you to go to moonrise, my only confusion at the moment is knowing that can still get her as a companion in act 2 or not since we did have romance with her.

Question for expert, please answer. Sorry for my english. Romance is bugged, but the whole story line is well done? until the very end of the game, Minthara has something to say ? do i suddenly stop talking? I now have a second map from the game where Githanka's school is and Minthara doesn't speak at all in any dialogue, but now I regret taking it because Karlach was talking and interfering a lot in the game and Minthara just stands there like a boot. And now my question, will she even speak to some quests, or will she stand like a stake?

i really wish Minthara wasn't evil i like Emma Gregory as a VA but i'm not a fan of Minthara

And it is all what you get as "romance" with her... there is no more in the whole game. It is bug or we got scammed by Larian. Very disappointing romance option!

I considered evil playthrough just to recruit her, but her voice is not attractive at all. Sounds kind of annoying and old tbh
