Side to Side Hangs - A method towards the One Arm Hang

Спорт

In this video we cover a progressive way in which to work towards One Arm Active Hangs. The OA Active Hang is a great tool to set the foundations of grip strength, Scapula Strength and Control, alongside an understanding of the Arm to Torso Connection.

This is the best video out there about this topic. I've got no idea why it is so low in views. Really great explanation and progression, thanks

This is a terrific common sense progression that should allow achieving one arm hangs without injury. Thank you for this video!

Thanks for the video, great content! Getting a mic on your neck or something would be a big improvement for the video itself. Thanks again!

Good stuff, but I recommend some type of mic close to you. I pumped the volume to 100% and had still had trouble understanding at some points.

I like to go a little further than just activating the shoulder as shown in Variation 7: once in active hang I move my free arm up, as if I wanted to grip the bar, but reach past the bar so that my free arms wrist is at the height of the bar. I really like the extra chest, core and back input that it takes to get the non-hanging shoulder that high

Hi. Whay are you with an opening grip (thumb over the bar)?Souldn’t be doing the hang or pull up with a close grip (thumb under the bar in contact with a index finger? Tks

Really good scales for progression. Is that a home made rig, if so what size tubing? More frequent content would be good but with this level of editing keeps it real.

This is an excellent demonstration. Thank you. At what duration of 2 arm hang should you start 1 arm hang?

Do you have more details as I’m super curious about this. You already are lifting your body weight in other areas like chest / back ? Do you already do pull ups and chin ups before you attempt one hand? Just wondering at what level you attempted as one hand is advanced and I’ve been waiting until I’m more leaner
