I know it's natural to be so critical, but this was one of the best tutorials I've seen on side swept bangs so don't be so critical of yourself. All of that made for a easier watching because it's relatable :) thank you for this tutorial!

Honestly I should've seen this video years ago. You spoke to my soul when you started talking about my bangs looking like a rainbow! I also found that volumizing powders help too. ☺

You are a LIFE SAVER! I am a nurse so I work A LOT- I have always wanted "side swept bangs" so I finally went to my stylist and had it done a couple weeks ago and LOVED IT- UNTIL two days later when I had to figure out how to get them back to how my stylist had em and it was NOT going well at all! I have had them clipped back since. This vid is EXACTLY what I needed! Wish my stylist would have explained this to me. If you lived in Kansas, you would DEFINITELY be my new stylist! :) You're AMAZING

Finally, a really helpful tutorial! I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out why I always end up with the "rainbow effect". I also can't believe a lot of hairdressers don't know this technique. Thank you for this!

Probably the most useful bang video I have ever seen. I've probably been straightening/ drying my bangs the wrong way this entire entire time. Also, I have a widows peek, so it's already hard enough to style my bangs without them parting stupidly down the middle. Thank you so much for the professional advice, my bangs look so gorgeous!!

*shameless flips my 2009 side swept bangs while listening to my ipod* nostalgiaaaa and old youtubeeeee 😭 But when did I get so old?! I've seen so many tiktoks pop up on my Facebook (again, when did I age 5 million years?) Making fun of how we got ready. It doesn't seem THAT long ago. The side swept bangs will always hold a special place in my heart. Even if I'll get yelled at for not having a middle part yet. This video was gold then, and its gold now ❤️ Remember, we were careful not to cut off too much, but leave enough that someone ALWAYS asks if you can see through your bangs. Idk how we saw. Maybe the snake bites worked as eyes. Lmfaooo. We weren't that bad But ughhhh. The dedication to the image. Maybe You had to be there. Lol KZread was such a different place. ❤️

This is the only bang video I've seen that actually works for my hair and my bangs :D I love this. I've been trying for months to get mine like that and even my stylist didn't know how to get them like that, so this was a huge help! I'm so happy right now, thanks for making this video!

I actually liked the rainbow look on me but I just got my hair died ultra violet and my roots are showing a lot of blond for some reason. So, because of that I'm trying to cover it with side bangs. Hopefully this look will look good on me! 😁

no you don't. I have wavy hair too but in my profile pic, i straightened them. I used this method and it works on wavy hair just. You might need to damp your hair just a little bit more. That's it :)

She has slightly layered bangs. You could ask your hairdresser to cut layered bangs but if you want to do them yourself then you should look up tutorials

I know this video was done in 2009, I just found you and WOW!! I've been blow drying my bangs wrong all these years. My stylist would blow dry my bangs to where they were side swept and it always turned out just right. But I couldn't see what she was doing because my bangs were in the way!
