Pretty much or... you could get some tape, put it on the table in a straight line shoot the ball and understand the deviation based on how you hit the ball

Take Hide and Seek when i was a kid i was on an Advanced Hide and Seek level I would consider angles of light and hide in shadows and crouch down and even though people were looking directly at me, they couldn't see me ADVANCED HIDE AND SEEK mate... it did involve physics

A very well done and compelling video. If the intent was to convince me of the utter hair pulling and mind numbing frustration of the game, it succeeded in spades. I would be breaking sticks, throwing balls through basement windows, and taking razor blades to the green felt. Life is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY too short for the frustration of pool.

for people struggling with this...you can look through the cue ball when using heavy side English and aim your tip at the edge of the object ball. if you pay attention to most of his strikes, his cue is aimed directly at the edge of the object ball. i found that this works exceptionally well when the object ball isn't too far away, and the shot is reasonably straight. the further the object ball, the more time the cue ball has to curve back. obviously, there's much more that goes into it but its decent starting point until you get a good feel for the deflection.

Great job explaining this. (And this still ignores the exacerbation of throw as people's hands get dirty (sweaty) and make the balls sticky) ... or in places which are really humid (much lower than your latitude. I learned in the 90s, before there was ANY info except books ... and gambling to see if you played as well as you thought you did. People today just do not realize that they have as much free info as a chick with DD's in a pool hall or a short skirt ... on the internet in a way that didn't exist even 15 years ago. Just Dave Alcatore and videos like accu-stats, etc. I have some videos of Efren, Alcano, Orcollo, Pagalayan playing the ghost on my videos. And again, good job explaining.

But it was so slight that I thought I could just be imagining it - now that I know it's real, I realize it's a great trick that can actually becomes useful quite often.
