For hybrids, it's better to tap into the 12v positive lead coming to the fuse box in the engine bay, not to run a long wire from the rear. There should be heavy gauge wire that reads 12V across it and ground, to which you should be able to run a lead to a fused relay panel. It might be a tight fit, but multitudes easier.

What do I need to do for this to work if I plan on using the 12v positive lead in the fuse box I have all the parts but don’t know next step should I run through the rear or how to use that positive lead

You can use the positive lead, just add a fuse to the wire you are adding.
