Thanks, this was very helpful. Though I have let the panel hang loose, on the door. Then it is not necessary to remove the button insert from the side panel or any of the connectors. Saves a lot of time.

Hey, looking to replace my passenger door mirror. So did you have to end up taking the window switch off? Are there any screws behind there?

@@ethancarvalho28 No, I left the inside door panel just hanging and didn´t remove any switches. After the mirror install I placed the complete panel back.

@@c.j.pieterse5869 oh ok perfect. so it’s just the two screws in the door handle trim and the clips that around the edge that hold it on? removing the window switch looked painful lol

Great overview, I have speakers on inside, and it has heated mirror option. Is there trick to remove speaker and hook up mirror harness. Mirror was broken off damaging the wire and bracket.

There’s 1 screw (Torx T20) behind the door handle. You have to take off a small plastic cover off first. Second is in the empty space at the bottom towards the end of the door. kzread.info/dash/bejne/iYqK1LaefMeoqdo.htmlsi=F5ah2DtyQNATojyc Hope this helps.
