Hey Shane, really like your content. I’ve got a good laugh for you comes under the heading of know your market. A few years back, I moved to Arizona and was visited by some young friends from back in Ohio. We had a pretty heavy snow one day, so I set out with the two young men with snow shovels and knocking on doors to offer to clear their driveways. We were all new to Arizona , so we got a quick education. One Homeowner summed it up pretty good when he looked at us kindly and laughed and said “actually, that snow will be melted by this afternoon but thanks anyway.”

You are walking on thin ice saying the majority of these side hustles can make you $10,000 per month, esp for beginners. Yes, these are all viable side hustles but expecting to earn that much for some passive income and part-time work don’t expect even 10% of that at best. Not to mention all the time, knowledge, money, etc. you need in order to even start beforehand is a lot for most of these. Making that much you are claiming you are saying you can make is basically full-time work in terms of time and effort spent to expect making that much from doing is very unrealistic. With any side hustle you need to bring your expectations way down unless you put full-time effort into it.

Lawn care is an interesting one that takes people by surprise. How it goes depends largely on two things, and I say this from having watched people in the business for years. One thing is discipline. The other is marketing. I have a friend who started, developed, and later sold his lawn care business and became a millionaire in the process -- and he was disciplined and focused on that marketing. For instance, he started in a very nice town that is a commuter community for a large metro. Then he expanded directly into the metro. He learned very quickly that the professionals in nice neighborhoods did not haggle or complain. As long as the delivery was at the expected level and on time (discipline), they just wrote checks -- and renewed for following seasons repeatedly. He also dropped our nice little town because it was more hassle all around. I know the guys he sold his operation to and how they operate, and I have seen others do their thing. None has the same level of intensity of the first guy, but they all make some decent income.

Just wanted to let you know that because of this video I have started doing print on demand online. As soon as I heard you describe it I knew this was something I'm interested in. It's becoming apparent that it's definitely not a get rich quick scheme but the idea of putting in consistent work from the comfort of my home, after my day job, and eventually earning substantial passive income is just too good not to try.

So much so that I fully funded my upcoming honeymoon purely from pet sitting. Not only that but I've been sitting at really nice homes. It's like staying at an Airbnb but they're paying you to stay. 🙂👍🏽

I would be curious what criteria = easy to get into. Many of these require a LOT of up front work, knowledge, etc. to prepare for getting into the side hustle. You even note a lot of these. Doable, but I wouldn't say "easy". But maybe our definitions of easy are different.

And by pros i mean folks with their own hedge funds who started with 1-2mm and got to 100mm aum within 5 years and have deep 9, 10-digit aum as 1-5 person shops. If you dont know these people, youre already toast. Trading is war.

@Webridgeimprovement it will take years like 2 or 3 years of like 15 hours a week or 150$ a video 2 or 3 videos a week or 2 weeks to even just strat making some money to pay itself then at least another year to be able to get some profit like 100 a month then a year for things to start going. That is the avg and 95% of channels die in 2 years. It takes me personally 7+ hours to edit my own 30 mints video with no face. Then many hours to do thumbnail. Then i get 500 to 1.5k views a month. Not to mention they can prevent your monetizing if u have any copy right and if you delete those videos u lose the views and watch time. My channel is almost 2k but am not yet monetized. Also non monetized channels get less of the KZread traffic and bad quality traffic. It is not beginner frindly. It also depends on where you are on the map and target people.

It is very hard and expensive to make a historical context video for example as a beginner on KZread. Especially if u don't show your face. Am thinking about useing masks. KZread lecturely conditions the avg user. Most of the views are about very funny fun super engaging entertainment cool uninformative bussy action and activity. Not to mention expensive as high level editing skills.

I completely agree with you about automated YT channels. In spite of the brilliant AI video creator/editors out there -- and maybe I just don't write decent prompts -- but I was done with the faceless automated channel concept when I realized that the scripts supplied by a certain very big GPT were 98% fluff and filler. If I paired that prison loaf content with a 100% B roll video using an AI editor, anyone operating at 75 watts or higher would know it and click away forever. There is more value in watching someone flagpole sit for a month. I know there are channels that do this, but what a crass, soulless approach. I can't see that approach working well. As you say, better off being yourself.

Ya that is not a side husle i would just do that especially by the point it hit that mark. KZread takes alot of time and could shadow ban you. It is very difficult too if u doing philosophy, religion, ideology and history stuff nowadays. I tried and am still trying but it takes ages and is not a side husle especially if you doing the video editing and not paying or renting a video editor for yourself. Which would cost an avg 100-200$ for 20 mints video.

It's a start. As long as it doesn't require TOO MUCH time investment. Because then, it would probably be better investing that time in something that would pay off more. Some side hustle coaches claim you only need like 3-4 hours a day to invest of your time and you can make a lot of money from just using that time wisely and effectively to make your business, such as the co-listing and digital leasing side hustles.

@@evan8168 now you're speaking my language to be honest. I can even settle for 500 a month or $50 a day. It has to be 100% remote. I do have skills with cap cut, video editing and social media things like that
