I agree those who are sick like that need to stay home RSV is running rampant in the daycare center I work at cuz parents just won’t keep their kids home when they have symptoms

No, it’s not called commitment! It is called poor parenting when a parent wimps out on keeping their child home and making them sad or disappointed by keeping them home when they are sick!!

How inconsiderate of you. Your child is throwing up & you allow her to attend a performance? Clearly the stomach flu is going through your household. STAY HOME! Think of others.

I also agree with this comment and it wasn't just one of their kids it was 3 and the same morning. This is the reason that our kids I mean people watching children get sick.

When my sister was about 10 she was in a performance and 75% of the kids got sick during show week as one or two kids came sick. We almost couldn't do the show. My sister got sick mid show and ended up missing the next 2 shows. I get the show must go on but not at the risk of exposing tons of kids to a dangerous bug. Glad Brielle is feeling better though.

Feel so sorry for her having to do that after throwing up I struggle to walk to the bathroom without feeling sick again it's not fair on her.

This time of year we need a disinfectant bomb to use every day during influenza season!!! Brielle is a very special young lady & she deserves to be rewarded & spoiled for her hard work! Blessings! 💜

This infuriates me that parents allow their children to attend/perform in events when their children are sick. As a school teacher, it is very frustrating when parents don’t consider other individuals that this is affecting. Disappointed…

Yup! As someone who is immunocompromised this is one reason why I can't safety go and do fun things. Also with new covid variants stomach symptoms are pretty common and the rat tests are NOT accurate for showing positives. This could be covid, and they are spreading it everywhere. Regardless of what the bug is it's not ok to go out when you are sick. No-one wants your germs and you could end up getting someone seriously sick. It's rude. Also with RSV as bad as it is kids hospitals are overwhelmed and full. There is no excuse to for this.

There are also still 24 hour stomach bugs. Not everything is Covid or deadly like the media has brainwashed everyone to think. Clearly you haven’t been in dance, you can’t just miss a show. I danced the nutcracker ballet on the day of my dads funeral (by choice). Clearly if she can hold down food it was just a 24 hour bug and she is fine. We’ve had girls have a puke bucket waiting for them on the side of the stage. I love watching Brielle do the nutcracker because it takes me back. I was a party girl at one point, and it was by far my favorite role!

@@clarezgoda5696 The only thing the media has brainwashed people into is being selfish and not caring about their fellow human. If going to a dance is more important that protecting the health of your friends that is very sad. And of course it could have been just a stomach bug, but you missed the point. The point is they wouldn't know, and even if it was just a stomach bug it is not acceptable to go out and spread it to others. If you have symptoms and are sick, stay home, or at the very least wear a mask. Its not too much to ask.

Well she cant miss her part, even how last minute it is. Normally they dont have back ups for that type of part/casting.

Yeah but she can’t rly miss her part and if she is feeling good and doesn’t have a fever she should be good. And as a dancer most studios have rules where you can’t miss a performance unless you are badly injured or throwing up rly bad but you are supposed to go if you feel good enough to or you could get kicked off of the competition team

Oh honey. I play the flute and I played my flute in the orchestra for the Nutcracker. They literally made an isle for me in case I got sick during the performance. I did not thank God. Hope you feel better.

I’m interested to know if you give your kiddos vitamins and/or supplements because it seems like one or another of them is sick all the time…either sick or injured.

My girls first performance was last night and they also had the stomach bug. 30 mins before the show started they threw up, so they couldn’t preform! Talk about how they hearts were broken that they spent weeks practicing for them to be sick on show day.
