Thanks a lot Igor! I've been looking for someone to cover up the sicilian defence in general to kickstart my sicilian defence journey and you did just that!

I started playing Sicilian about 2 hours ago. This is great!
so many Sicilian variations to learn! great tutorial Igor!
Thanks, I've been waiting for this.
Best you tube channel for advice. No click bait just straight up theory, I love this channel.
I've been looking for a video like this for a while. Thanks for making it.
Thank you for doing my request !☺️😊
Very good video. Thank you so much!
I would appreciate a video on some Queen's Gambit plans for white. Your short reviews of fundamental openings are great
I am going to be signing up for your classes. I enjoy your videos I watch all of them and learn so much.
Thank u for this video
I like your videos . Your the best teacher for me in chess🥂- your fan from kerala
Can you please make more videos on the Sicilian? This opening will be good for tournament play.
Can you consider adding the notation of each move in the corner of the screen above your head? It would be helpful for not taking thanks! Love your videos
I really like this defense because I like playing the perk defense along with a Sicilian Defense so I like learning things that I could easily move into other things I know in the opening
2:42 the Bon Jovi's reference is crazy🤣
Thanks a lot! Just played a sicilian today and didn't really know how to develop so ended with a draw.
As a beginner in chess, I really thankful for you making this sicilian defense video, I tend to play as white easily but when it comes to me to play as black I always wonder what opening I should use😃

I like the najdorf variation
I see Igor video I click
igor i played in lichess and I can calculate all ideas but i cannot calculate in real chess board can u suggest anything
We need a detailed tutorial on Taimanov Sicilian
One of the best teacher on KZread for ethical hacking 😁
I've played Sicilian for almost 5 months and couldnt find any repertoire or game plan against the delayed alapin , can you please make a video about how to play against delayed alapin? Because as a najdorf player i always struggle about it.
Make a full video about Sicilian Kan varaition
I believe the 2.Nc3 closed sicilian was also worth including. Otherwise, great vid
Thanks Igor! I wish you can make more crush courses like this.
What should I do if the pawn strikes my horse then it will not be like the splitting that you showed us
Very interesting summary except that the bowder is not as bad as you say after Bc4 whatever the order if after Kc6 you answer --> Kf3, e6 --> Qe2 (little trap against d5), Kf6 --> Kc3, a6 --> a4...it's pefectly fine, and it's an easy-to-learn way to keep playing an italian-like game against a sicilian player.
I would gladly pay for a deep dive course on the Paulson/Kan variation. Struggling to find comprehensive theory on this. (How play 2…E6 against mainline, marockzy, alapin, smith mora, mainline traps etc)
2. Bc4, the "I don't know how to play variation", has a real nice ring to it :D
Intro 10/10. Would give 11 if I could.
When I was trying to learn the Accelerated Dragon I kept finding myself in the Rossolimo. I missed that one on the list.

Try hyper ACC dragon..U will avoid rosolimo at all and it is the best sicilian fr me also ..g6 ...2nd move....and U aim to play d5 in one go...

Heh. I always thought "dragon" because the bishop behind the knight was like a dragon breathing fire.
Teach us about Sicilian women too GM!
I played this, and I've got 99.5% accuracy.
You earned your like for that pizza and women joke sir
I always promote my Nf3 after e4.
Mengarini variation?
Can you play some live games please
Sir I think you missed the katalimov variation
bro i played this smiith morra gambit many times lol cause i just like to push queen pawn
one thing not covered is what do you do if they take the pawn with the queen on d4
Faltou a Scheveningen e a hiperacelerada.
You forgot the Jalalabad Variation.
All Hail GM Smirnov ❤
O'kelly variation??
Nobody plays these white variations. Most ppl plays super aggressive against this and starts attacking immediately with the Queen. I notice now that you avoid showing what really is played in a lot of these openings.

I feel the same way but I’m also rated pretty low. So I guess it comes down to learning how to punish earlier aggression.

Yes I think he's showing us the most solid white moves, so if white doesn't play this way, I think that our position is even more advantageous

These are the main lines with some extra moves, obviously you can't show every possible attack

No way white plays with queen against sicilian. Either you are below 800 elo. Or you don't have any idea about the theory and main lines
At lower elo the Sicilian is very effective, its the only opening i play vs e4 and i win most of the time, ive faced the bowdler attack too many times lol

Once you see your Everest it’s all downhill from there😢
This lesson was both informative and funny. Ha, linking the Sicilian with the mafia and pizza. Please train yourself to speak a little slower, sir, so we can better enjoy your sense of humor.

Like it's selling in the shop you go and buy and get it 😂 (you have to achieve it actually)
Can someone explain me why everyone plays Bishop early (g5) to threat the horse (f6) that is protected by the pawns? Bishop ain't suppose to have more value than a horse? And If the bishop don't wanna trade, you can push It back with the corner's pawn (h6)... I can't get It
Igor needs to speak more slowly, and let the viewer evaluate the position. He has no pause between sentences.

Go on the upper right corner of the video, click on settings and change the play back speed. The video will go to the slowest pace possible as you want.

it makes me so fking angry how fast all chess tutorials rush by the starting moves as if everyone looking this up already knows it or is a 1500+ . It's impossible to follow along with my own board with any of these videos without pausing every 3 seconds and even of i did i would still miss something because you do 5 moves in a second then when i try to listen to your strategy i get behind on the moves. Also not everyone has chess notation memorized cause we are new players so how does it help to say "we move this piece here because....bla bla bla n4n6b3n7n4vrn6n4b3....that means nothing to us because we can't possibly comprehend all of those squares and pieces instantly and then we're already moving on to the next move. I guess all content is designed for us to stare at the screen and go to the next vod cause people only really care about views on their videos
that dragon scared the living hell out of me😭😭😭😭😭😭
Please pin this comment and make my dream come true.
