@@chenbagel My cat thoughts "The strange two legged thing that brings me food and toys just as I desereve" :) Also the feather toy at the end. My cat will totally ignore the feather end, and not even watch it move around, but she will chase the other end (which is just a rod of plastic) for hours

Literally the only cat breed who actually likes their cat carriers. Mine is almost 5 and if we leave the cat carrier out we'll find him sleeping in it.

A babysitted a 7 months old sibirian cat for a few weeks and I'm in love with them since then. Such gentle little weirdos.

Nothing beats a kitten in terms of cuteness. She is truly devoted to the owner.

Siberians are a wonderful breed. I have one. He is a show cat and happily lives as a n indoor cat (goes out in the garden under supervision with a lead). He lives with a Siamese who goes out unattended. Sibs are wonderfully adaptive. They have a great nature. Never hassling or needy. But very warm, friendly, never nervous.

Gorgeous kitten!! I was sad until the 6th minute when she was all lonely but when I saw the human contact and petting and play time, I got relieved. I personally like to have two cats so that they don't feel lonely and also play with each other..Thanks for loving and taking good care of her

Once she started opening up she is very playful and good natured. I may get another cat but I am home most of the day so Nova comes and goes when she wants to play, get pet, or just be alone. Thanks for watching!

@@chenbagel I think you right, many cats need also another cat as a company, of course we human give great company, but they need someone who is there best friend and also a cat, it will be great for you too, because they can also play a lot with each other, especially when living in a building and she doesn't go outside to a garden searching for the neighbor's cat...so yeah I think it will do great for her and for you

I use a curved slicker brush and a flat one (the purple one in the video), but Nova definitely prefers the curved one now

Ohh, what an adorable little floof. We had our cat for19 years, and I still remember his first week settling in wasn't easy. He even managed to escape through the back door and was missing for 4 days before he miraculously came back to our yard. I hope Nova has settled in now and is living a lovely life with you.

She is precious and already spoiled

My siamese kitten was hiding first week - first he found sauna, after we barricaded the opening down he found dirty laundry basket and made it his home. Your kitten is more brave, walking normally. My was crawling. Also he was meowing very loudly first two nights

Nova is very shy and curious

She is so beautiful and feisty…everything one wants in a kitty! I first saw this breed a few days ago as a lady in Central Park here in NYC pulled one out of a carrier and walked her on a leash! Your baby seems VERY happy with her new home! 🥰🐱

My son lives in Spokane and owns a greyhound, his neighbor also has a greyhound (sight dogs) the neighbor takes her greyhound, 2nd dog and a cat on walks with no leash. My sons dog would be 27 blocks from home if he wasn’t leashed. I like dogs, but I love cats!

ive taken Nova outside with harness and leash a couple times and I think she likes it but still not used to it. She gets a lot of stimulation from smells/sights/noises outside. Its ok too if shes just an indoor kitty, less cleaning for me!

All my five Maine Coons walk on a leash. And they do it way better than lots of dogs we meet during our strolls in the Black Forest. Love from Germany 🙋‍♀️🇩🇪

As a matter of fact one year when I was packing my suitcase to go to Germany for a few weeks she jumped up into the case and sprawled out in protest of me going! They are very smart…she knew what was up! I love your country and wish you and your cats much happiness!

What a beautiful cat!

As a cat owner myself Please take that collar and bell off of her, Bells are not good for cats they can cause terrible mental distress to them, also if she is an inside cat (as all breeders recommend with Sibs) she doesn’t really need the collar. Please be aware of the cables in your home, sibs are curious cats, I’m sure your breeder has told you that she will need lots of play to keep her amused and in good condition… I wish you lots of years of happy memories with her! … sorry if that sounds a bit whiney, I’m conscious of these things especially with this breed, only coming from a good place 😊

Since Nova will be mostly indoors I no longer have her collared since after her first week home. I think you are right that it can causes more harm than good. If she gets bored, she will go after wires/shoes/rugs, but it is rare since I make sure to play with her an hour a day. After play I feed her and usually she goes right to nap for a few hours

I dont know if it causes stress but the bell is just to alert birds I took the bell off my cat collar so it would not give his location away if he was being pursued

I have two Siberians. they are super amazing but not saying they are better than other cat breeds. but just love their long hair and please remember, they have more dog like personality. they are also forest cat breeds meaning they have more wild side to it. good luck. this reminds me of when I brought home two of my Siberians.

gosh I am melting from love to her , just totally in love with her, she such a gorgeous , beautiful , kind , and gentle , sweet and sooo cute , I just wish I could be there with her a bit. she was so afraid at the beginning , I wanted to hug her, but then she started to explore the place and the house, the objects and toys, like a pro...brought me a smile, laughter and tears of joy seeing her and this video and amazing beautiful and loving story. Siberian cat is a very good hunter. My cat, constantly brought me all sorts of small animals and birds. Нer name was Puska. This spring, she was gone. I can't remember how old she was. About 20. She was a very kind and affectionate friend.

Yes they are! Your Puska sounds so adorable and lived a long happy life. You must have taken good care of her! Since Nova is indoors only I play with her quite a bit every day to satisfy her hunter instincts

​@@chenbagel Yes, my cat Puska lived with us in a country house near the forest and walked everywhere, hunted, communicated with other cats. I think she had a very happy life ) I think if Nova will be able to communicate with other cats, it will be an ideal option in your conditions. As an option-take a second cat ))

my method for new kitteh is always the same - string and just try to play, instincts will take over and kitty will be running around like a mad man i no time

My middle name is Nova - and I'm totally in love with this kitten!!!!!

Two cats keep each other company. Then you won’t worry about them being lonesome. We are retired and just enjoying being in our home with a screened Florida Room where kitties can watch the wildlife and play chase and sleep any place they desire. Wouldn’t you feel better if you adopted and “saved” two cats. You would have more to look forward to than just having a bed and a tv.

I have a cat. I have an apartment of about 400 square feet and I don't have a garden. He is very well alone. I don't let him go outside, I live in a narrow street where there are a lot of cars.

Maybe you can put in a window 'catio' (like a greenhouse extension on the window, made for cats). I live in a one bedroom apartment. I have nice neighbors with cats and hope to arrange cat play dates with them.

Cute kitten....when I got mine from the shelter, he had two sisters...they asked me which one I wanted, I said open the door and let them into their play area, I picked the one full of piss and vinegar lol...he wasn't afraid of nothing....when I got him home it was 3 minutes before he had the run of the place and knew where all the best sleepy spots were lol My bedroom doesn't have an actual door on it so I put a piece of plywood up 5' high to keep him in until he got acclimated....he was having NONE of that! lol...he jumped over and off he went exploring.

Heh. The kitten lacks real frost and a large snowdrift outside the threshold. After swimming in the snow, his coat will become especially healthy, fluffy and shiny. My Siberian cats love Siberian winter.
