SIB fishing on a Cornish estuary

Спорт

May has been a hard month for all aspects of fishing. Relentless wind and rain has stopped my plans of hitting the reefs and wrecks in hopes of pollock and bass. The shelter of an estuary can provide the ideal location to fish when the open coast is blown out.
In this video I use a variety of methods to target the many species present in the estuaries of Cornwall. Dont get too excited! There were no specimen fish to be had on the day but that didn't stop me having a bit of fun!
As always thank you for watching and please do subscribe and show your support!

Little tip about wind noise. Take a small piece of any foam (pipe insulation, packing foam, upholstery etc) and tape/glue it over the mic cut out in camera casing. It will not be as good as external mic with dead cat on it, but should improve sound quality.

Well done on the gilt I fished within a couple of hundred metres of were you caught him last August. I had one good bite but no gilts for me had a Pollock out the heads. Lovely spot and well earned after a long day 👍

Haven't had a decent pollock in what feels like ages! Weather looks to be clearing up a bit now so I'll be on them again very soon 😁

Like watching your blogs very imformative. I'm going to be in cornwall this August 2021. What are my chances of catching mackerel both on the beach with feathers and lure fishing.

You'll want to find a rock mark with fairly deep water (3m+) and fish it on the incoming with a metal
