The song still makes me cry when I look back at past when I was in utter depression, but ye I fought back but those dark days a person never forgets. We are all fighting our mental battles, and we are all hero for ourselves to survive a depression.

In this song, Sia is not just singing about mental health.. she is singing how it feels! The purest form of art!

What's an illness to other's, is really just their subconscious abuse for not wanting to understand those who express and be themselves honesty, more than pretend (obedience). Obedience sometimes = Enabling Wrong is wrong, even if everyone is doing it. And right is right even if no one is doing it. Better to express and be yourself honestly, than to bottle it up for societies approval, only to impulsively become a destructive narcissist and enemy in the end. The outer appearance of the clown, is really mocking the clown inside and underneath society (superficial). This is why people pretend people like this are "ill", because they see themselves in them (like a mirror of truth). This "illness" is just people waking up and letting go of the fear mongering they submitted to. They make the best of what's left in their life. It means they need healing and real because they caught on and gave up the act. This is why they dance, mock, and disturb. Because the majority have already sold their souls disturbing the reasonable humanity in these individuals. This expression. This honest art, should comfort the disturbed (reasonable), and disturb the comfortable (greed desperation).

Этим фильм и цепляет... причем капитально... действительно драма! 100% при написании сценария не обошлось без консультаций психиатров, в фильме показаны многие признаки расстройств личности, которыми страдают (в разной степени) большинство населения.

This movie makes me cry , I really felt every single scene , I felt his feelings , I felt his reactions 💔 all he wanted from his bad life is just to reach his small dream , he was condoning and handles a lot just to reach his dream , the only good thing that helping him to continue was his imaginings , but finally when he reach it he became another man " he lost himself "

Amo a Sia. Realmente pensaba que la película de "Joker" iba a ser la mera sombra del Joker en "Escuadrón Suicida". Pero me tomé el tiempo a verla mucho después de su estreno, quedé fascinada. La película muestra tantas cosas que uno ve en la sociedad, la podrida sociedad, que no hace más que ponerte en los zapatos del protagonista. Es una obra de arte que mostró el lado humano del Joker; el cómo una persona buena pero vulnerable estalla por culpa del abuso de la sociedad. Es bellísima, limpia, fresca, alucinante.

It was heartbreaking leaving the cinema with some people saying "what a crazy..." yet so many people in his situation, that just need our empathy. The film was heavy, because he was slowly losing and giving up on himself

Although i am now a successful married man with one child, i deeply sympathize with the Joker character. I deeply recall my early twenties when i was labeled as a creep, girls avoiding me, with moderate college results. Then i met my wife and things began to change with baby steps. Yet deep inside i am still the Joker.

Man I can tell you I have watched this move over 30 times! !! It is a masterpiece in my opinion. Im a big Todd Phillips fan, when he left comedy to work on this, he knocked it out the park! !! The story! The directing! The acting! The camera work! The set design! The love of theater! !! Just WoW
