My mom died when I was five. My dad started doing drugs. And drinking... He lost his job, our house, everything. When I turned 7 he started abusing me. He'd come home drunk, or high, and he'd start beating me with a baseball bat, throw me down the stairs, hit me, punch me, burn my skin... I started cutting myself when I was 10. My brother killed himself when he found out what my dad was doing to me. I stopped eating. The cutting got worse.. People at school would make fun of me everyday. I've tried killing myself 3 times now. The part where Maddie falls back onto the bed as if she's jumping made me burst into tears because I really know what it's like. I don't want your sympathy or pity, I'm tired of seeing people getting bullied online for just trying to prove a point and then they get accused of being attention seekers

I have read some analisis, and you are not wrong. What I read: it about a child who's alone at home, she's bored and she imagine/make a reality. It's start in the bedroom, with the awaken. Then at 1:38 she mime the moring lunch. At 2:37 the let's go to work, so the mother/Father who go out! 3:03 the child is like strangled by the lack of his mother/father. And at 3:19 she mimic the mother who yeld at the child. The analisis said it's like she create a 'routine'. But yes we all do this weird stuff when we are alone at home :p

Reminds me of a great legend that died the same yr. Sometimes music affects mood and might also affect decisions. A perfect visualization of the song, which is about a young woman caught up in the damaging effects of a party lifestyle. The video is an exact allegory of what's going on in the singer's mind - she's essentially a child-like individual crashing around inside her own head (depicted as the bare, decayed and neglected apartment space) in a state of deranged paranoia. She's exposed, vulnerable and at the mercy of her own actions.

Maddie Ziegler is fantastic, just 11 years old and did an incredible performance that totally matched the heavy lyrics of the song to a girl her age, Congratulations! It was the fact that she totally shied away from the patterns that put little girls like princesses in pink dresses and all that shit. If she continues in the dance/acting branch with love for what she does let's hear a lot about her still. I hope so.

Okay, number one for all of the "parents" out there, Maddie (The girl) is a dancer. SHE IS WEARING A LEOTARD FOR GODS SAKE. The leotard is a nude color and does not cover up less than what you're kids would wear to the beach. All dancers normally wear a nude or pale color leotard. Number two, WHY IN THE WORLD ARE YOU EVEN CONSERNED ABOUT HER LEO? This girl is an amazing dancer and is very flexible and I don't see why the only thing you car about is her leotard. And for all if you that are saying that this is a "scary" or horrible dance, it is telling a story. Yes, it may be a little odd but it is beautiful in a way. And lastly for all of you saying that this is a horrible song, it is telling a story. It may not be the type of music you listen to but Sia has a very strong, beautiful voice.
