The CEOs make unbelievable amounts on partnerships with other brands alone, while also increasing amount we pay yearly, don’t matter if it’s in the form of upgrading your player or buying boosts and gatorade for each game, rather they serve it as an incentive for people who want the competitive edge. Devs who like to completely pass the blame on to the superiors are also a problem, since they can just make boosts obsolete. My point is that they know everyone complaining will keep buying the game each year as long as there’s no competition. I feel like they’ve had the best 2K for a while and they’ve just been drip feeding us this shit while shoveling as much money as they can in the bank accounts till a majority takes a stand and then the following year, they do exactly what the community wanted all along 😂 while getting praised for it
