Do you usually steer using the sail or do you use a paddle or a rudder or some kind?

If I'm alone I steer by moving for and aft and trimming the sail. if I have crew I prefer to use my AD scull. watch sculling and steering clip: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oWyCm9d-lcWoYaw.html all d best, rael
Hello friend! I have some questions about your wonderfull project "Why not?" - What is max speed of this boat project? - Is speed of the boat more then speed of wind? - what is the course range for this boat on scale from 0 to 180 degrees? Thank you

Max speed around 9 knots, maybe 10.... Not faster then the wind. He will sail very close to the wind, 45 to 50 degrees to the wind, going to windward is no problem. Build one..... All d best and keep shunting, BSY.
