I realize this is going to sound silly.... Watching these videos have actually helped me understand my domestic house cat rescue and his behaviors. He was neglected and poorly socialized. Through Kevin Richardson’s discussions, I look for similar traits in my rescue and have implemented enrichment walks. He loved them and has really curbed his aggression. Thank you. 🐾🌺🐾

aw,.so nice to hear,.I love my Cat,..actually offends him by calling him as if he's an animal,.my kitty looks at us eye to eye when we are talking,.I don't get how anyone doesn't talk to their friends(furry)..they love it..and always have their diner and treats out,.they should never have to wait till their human wants to give them something,.My baby regulates on his own,.he's more conscientious then humans,.even looks at what we're eating, never has he jumped on anything either only on his pads, cat tree,.or his areas where he enjoys relaxing, and enjoys taking me out for walks if he wants..he's 12 and still plays like a child. especially hide and seek..sorry I could go on,.but just wanted to tell you how it was nice to hear about your kitty, he's smarter then any human.

I am a simple guy, I see a man cuddling with lions I subscribe!!!

I remember helping to shuffle the lions when I got to go volunteer. Kevin was telling us how each group has preferences for how they are loaded (ie, certain lions must go first, some will unhesitatingly jump into the cage, others will take their time). But, true to what Kevin is saying at the end of this video, the lions had their own plans during that shuffle. I think moving George and Yame was the most remarkable; George just bounded in and out of the vehicle like it was no big deal. Kevin remarked that he usually needs help due to the weaknesses in his back legs, but he decided to show off that day I guess, haha. There was also another group that, of their own volition, loaded in an unusual order that would normally result in more than one or two trips but caused no problems that particular move day. Again, Kevin let us know that it was unusual and that despite everything he knew about these lions through his well-established relationship with them, they could still manage to surprise him in fun ways like this. It was incredible to see and hear Kevin's reactions to these surprises like he is always happy to experience any of the lions changing up the routine with their unique personalities. It was such a pleasure and I hope to go back soon.

@sharon curry true, there was no announcement nor a goodbye video of him. The same with Tau and Tabby, though. They were beloved lions of Kev but we only found out that they passed later on.

Love the lion nose in the camera. Lol

i donate £50 a month its not a lot but im still in school so i just save up my lunch money and donate it its not like our populations at risk after all so id rather give it to a good cause and im going to visit as a volunteer when im 18 (about a year and a half) and im going to go every year after aswell for a month

Kevin has been interacting with these Lions so closely for so many years and never once was seriously attacked...This is almost unbelievable..The relationship between him and these animals are amazing...

It's amazing they don't even change the mood when you are next to the meat

Last Friday there was no video from you. I just felt sad and silent. Today, I saw the little youtube bell light up. And so I lit up! Dropped everything and saw that the video is going to be a whole 18 minutes!! I jumped till the ceiling! =) You know what this means? It means that to me, personally, *I do not care what the video is about, as long as there is you and lions in it* . You can just sit in the shade and yap about if Meggy pooped today or if Bongani had a hairball. I will listen to it all forgetting to breeze. All I want to see is you and your lions being safe and sound. Learn more from every word you say. That is all from me =) /with love from Sweden and Russia =)

I dont want to be poop on a stick but those are the only ways he cant act because if he acts with aggressive behavior and one of them even takes a little swipe and realizes he is scared he immediately goes from top of the pack to bottom. That's when things get very dangerous.

It's horrible that people would rather see these majestic beasts on a wall or rug than in the wild habitat where they belong.....more zoo's need to not breed these Cubs to live in cages as well....Love what your doing caring for those cats an animals in need,guarding,an conservation.

We need to give them back their territories and habitats and ecosystems and then leave them alone other than essential aid.

They are beautiful lions. I love when they are jumping in and out of the cars you can see every muscle in their bodies.

Just found your channel the last month or so and became a member. Binged watched all your videos. Would love to see more about the leopards; also what it takes to run the sanctuary on a daily basis, which must be a monumental task! You and your staff are to be applauded for the care you give these wonderful creatures. Don’t worry if you can’t get videos posted on a regular basis, the animals are first priority (although I do enjoy seeing them!).

I love the mood between animals and humans. It's almost magic.

Lions need to have their enclosures but also to go for walks in other areas just like people do. It’s great that the Lion Whisperer is doing that with great applause from audiences and appreciation from the lions.

I like how they jumped into the crate like dogs do when they go out in the car. He seems quite happy too. The brunette coloured male the last jump in did not really seem to want to go. The love the roaring in the background.

I became an advocate for animals when I was a kid. A local park had a elephant for the enjoyment of tourists. Only time it was happy was when it got to play in the lake. At 7 years old all I could do is cry.
