it was cool that weapon rogue lost, but tbh that was bs mechanic.... like how the fck that works? So he died but game paused, then draw happened and healed him from zero. Should it work like that?

@@dannylight7022 it go's both ways if seen kingsbane go below 0 then heal back up when they have lifesteal.

@@dannylight7022 the game didn't pause, those 2 actions are supposed to be made exactly at the same moment The game can't show you that because that'd often be way too much information to show at the same time, but they still happen at the same time

The game is actually decently consistent on this with repeated interaction fixes along the way. An action fully resolves before the game victor is decided. This means you can heal back from death with things that have to happen. In this case, the weapon swing draw is tied to the attack, which has to resolve. This is different from a deathrattle happening AFTER a spell destroys a minion, think hellfire with mistress on board. The spell resolves, THEN deathrattles resolve, meaning you die before the healing works. Weapons are common offenders, like truesilver through explosive iirc was a common one. Don't remember if lifesteal minions will do that too. Explosive trap is a common interaction with this. Sorry for rant, p. high and went stream of consciousness here, sorry if any errors

I'm fairly certain there has never been a better moment in the history of Death Knight than being resurrected by the same plague that kills your Kingsbane opponent.

I know this isn't how it works, but I hope that whenever you crash a bot out, its owner checks their logs and shake a fist at the sky, screaming "Daaaaaannnnnneeee!"

I finally caught a stream and never realized you edit these so quickly afterward!

For the people that don't understand how the Plague could revive Dan, here's how the game does it. Damage happens. Effects related to damage then happen (e.g: lifesteal). In this case, card draw. Things that should die, die. Deathrattles happen. That's why a healing deathrattle cannot save a player that's already at 0 HP - dead things cannot be healed, the player has already been checked as dead. (you can count losing the game as a player's deathrattle if that makes it any easier). It's also why a Lifesteal weapon can heal a player that's gone below 0. Because the damage effect happens before the player died, and once the game has to check who's dead, the player is still above 0: not dead. And that's why the Plague saved Dan. The card draw was part of the damage, it had to resolve before the game checked who was dead.

I always wondered why no one thought of augmented elekk when making this deck, glad to see the old elekk see more play

That first one was awesome. I can't stand playing Wild anymore so I appreciate your fortitude. Last time I played, I hit Legend back-to-back months using Tip The Scales Murloc Paladin.

@FlamingTruth geist is better as it hits 1 cost cards especially druids where i can go loatheb to guarantee geist follow up. They have their different uses, but druid is like the only class geist works against efficiently and both are not worth running on a normal day. plague dh exists in wild and i mostly play reno decks.

I never fully get what's the real difference between matching against a bot or a real person, other that you can exploid the IA. I kinda rather playing against bots cause at least they don't BM.

It's no fun playing against a bot because there's no ingenuity or emotion behind them. The feeling of outsmarting an opponent or being surprised by one doesn't happen with a bot.

I wonder why Elekk works like that. Shouldn't the opponent be the one shuffling the card back into their own deck?

Whenever I play against a bot, they don't appear in my recently played with so I can't report them. Damnit blizzard fix yo shit

First game reminds me of my favourite game I played with Plage DK so far - I was against a Kinkbane Rogue as well, and it looked dire for me. Their deck was chock full of Plagues, but they had evaded most of them for the bigger part of the game. So comes that one tunr: their K'bane at 13 attack, me at 13 health. They swing, and Silverleaf makes them draw. They draw a Blood Plague, as well as a few others. I had my Elekk out, so after all was said and done, I was at 2 health, with a bigger board than before and their next cards was expensive. They sat there pondering what just happened, and within my next turn I actually knock them out. EDIT: This comment was made before I watched the game...
