jesus christ, this is the most epic duo to walk the face of the earth. Being a long time fan of both, i must add, this is meets and exceeds early 90's experimental. This is right up there, with Gaz Cobain and Brian Dougans live shows I used to listen to back in '94 or so. That is a bar no one can beat, and yet, here it is, Luke Slater, and Speedy J, this is truly epic. Words can not explain how amazing this set is... Luke and Speedy are Gods amongst man.

I've been hoping to find these Lockdown Era mixes. Mixing from different points on the map at home really showed the future of djing. Hope to see more of this and expanded upon, but not too much, in the near future.

They're not revealing how they're doing this so I'll give some insight since I want people to be able to jam with their friends: Syncing midi is only half of it. Syncing their audio monitoring is the other part and the only way to do that is to accept a delay. During lockdown I tried a program called 'Ninjam' which works by delaying both performers by different amounts to get to the point where they both hear the same thing. So each performer might hear what the other person is doing only 4 bars after they do it. I imagine they're doing something like this, but we can't know for sure. Great set by the way, guys.

The only way I can think how this works is that one studio is the host, his jam is sent to studio 2 with sync cv or something. Then studio 2 adds their part and is the broadcaster while sending sync data back. I don't think it can be done any other way, theory of relativity and all. This is a great Jam!
