I’m skipping the Dior. The print is beautiful. I love it. The quints themselves are pretty, but I’m not paying $20 for the pouch. I don’t use the pouches. Like you, I wish the gorgeous design was on the compact. We are interested in the same 2 quints. I think I can dupe the pink with my collection. I also have Imperial Moon so I don’t need the silver one. I’m scratching them off my list. I hope I can stay strong!!!

I think the Suqqu quad is more wearable and more versatile than the YSL quad!

Honestly, there's none right now. 83 Euros is an extremely hefty price tag for a Dior quint, pretty but no. Maybe the Nars quad, I'm a sucker for taupes

I agree! And nobody is complaining about this Dior price increase! I may pick a quint only if I find an offer on it. Otherwise I’m fine without it.

The NARS powder is very good - and much underrated. I've almost finished mine and will replace it, but only when there's a good offer on - and to be fair, it's never a long wait until a good deal comes for NARS products. I am waiting though for the Koh Pong quad - its not yet available here in the UK.

Burberry did a face palette with a beautiful baked gelee formula. Lexi reviewed/loved. Also "Runway" eyeshadow palette & recently powder.

Oh yes! I remember those palettes, there were 2 versions. Burberry makeup is not easy to find here

I'm skipping Chanel. It's an easy pass for me. But I'm still very tempted by Dior quints (blue and silver ones), and Dior blush duos. And I really want to get Bobbi Brown Star-crossed palette. I hope I get to swatch some of these in person and shrink my wishlist :)

Wow so many of the shades look so similar to your eyeshadow collection! The Bobbi brown heart packaging is so cute! I have different things on my wishlist but yes let’s stay strong lol.💪 I had 5 things I was allowing myself to buy until November, but I just added a 6th thing 🤦‍♀️

Dior Paris just dropped in the US… it’s $10 more than the permanent palettes or $8 from their special limited edition releases. Not as terrible markup compared to when Chanel released the tweed quads.

Lucky you! Here in EU it’s 20 euro more than what we usually pay for a Dior palette

I love the pouch and shadow formula but none of the colour stories interest me. Yes, I agree many of the shades in these quints will blend together and look the same colour on the eye. I prefer palettes with different texture like presented in YSL and Gurlain quads. What a lucky find and purchase of the NARS face palette! Lucky, high end and luxury beauty are NEVER on sale where I live 😢

I'm interested in the Champs Elysee quint. I could never fully decide on any purple or pink quint from Dior. This one seems great. I've seen a review and the colours looked very pretty.. But I can't wrap my head around how shiny or sparkly they really are. As soon as cameras or artificial light is shimmers can look off. To me the quints seem more shimmery/sparkly than let's say the Night bird quint that I own.

I need to swatch these in person. My suspicion is that only the bottom left shade is very glittery, but I may be wrong. I’ve seen that video but I didn’t really understand the finishes 😘

None of these appeal to me, except the YSL, which I would have to see in person. I’m in love with that formula, but I have the Suqqu.. I have worn it today, and the taupe does show up on my skin. The dark shade is great as a liner ☺️

Interesting to hear about the Viseart. I'm mixed on the brand. For me as a very fair person I often find the mattes being darker than they appear or the undertone looking different on my eyes 😅and the shimmers are inconsistent... A few formulas are very dull, piecy or very dry and don't look nice on the eye at all.. They don't adhere well and don't sit smoothly. Not sophisticated at all

Hi dear, yes I know that palette, but the formula is not the luxe formula, that is the only one I know from Bobbi brown. I would only recommend the luxe formula, that one is special and worth the price. This is my personal opinion 😘

Sure, I was referring to the quad Moonstruck Luxe that is in the Luxe formula. I have two palettes in the Luxe formula not baked gelée and I confirm it’s great. The 8-pan is not the Luxe formula. I know it’s confusing but they have different palettes in that Kerri Rosenthal collection and the only one in the Luxe formula is the quad. 😘
