Thank you for this recipe! It looks soooo good. I’ve never even had ceviche but I just had gastric sleeve surgery 2 weeks ago, and it’s all I’m craving! I know I will love it cause I love shrimp and pico de gallo. Also, thank you for explaining the “cooking” of the shrimp. I’ve seen other videos say they were putting the shrimp in the fridge and then skip to “after the shrimp is cooked” and thought they just didn’t want to show the way they cooked it.

Girl, I can watch your videos all day! I love how you showed an alternative to cooking the shrimp because even though I love shrimp and all the ingredients of ceviche, I've never eaten it because I don't trust the shrimp or seafood in lime. Thanks for sharing. :)

Thank you for your video. Your voice is so soothing. I was looking for a ceviche and shrimp recipe and your recipe caught my eye. It was nice and simple. Nothing exotic. The only thing I will do differently is add tilapia with the shrimp.

I got it from Walmart, it's The Pioneer Woman collection.
Clamato juice is for shrimp cocktail
i don't use cilantro for shrimp because it covers the taste too much and i like the taste of the shrimp even eaten raw sometimes with a bit of salt , on fish i dont mind using a bit of cilantro i even used avocados too ,fennel and bell peppers but red onion is a must but really the less ingredients the better
what can i substitute for clamato?
@CookingwithShirani
Жыл бұрын
You can use V8 vegetable juice or you can just skip it.
Can I use white onion instead of red ?
@CookingwithShirani
2 жыл бұрын
Yes you can.
I also take the seeds out. Imo it tastes better without them
several hours in the lime? not necessary just 10 min or till the fish or shrimp change color, the time it takes depends on the size of pieces too but i suppose the longer it marinates with all the ingredients it might be better others say the fresher made the better so varying opinions , i prefer to keep it cold in the fridge
Same as making conch salad
Can i use frozen shrimp?
