The stage will have more going on (visually) in the final version, this is still in progress, but I still wanted to show how it's improved already. Especially with the attack sections, i'm working on making them have more punch to them (as well as better indicating the fact it's an attack in the first place)

Well, you've probably already got an idea for the attack, buymt since he's a Game show ho- GAME SHOW [deal or no deal] game show host, maybe his attack could be themed around that, like a show light swing towards kris, or because of how eccentric he is it could be a comicly large buzz saw because "in the entertainment market, you ether go big, or you go home mama"

I feel like there’s more opportunity to mix in shield notes on your own turn, rather than just leaving it a bland “press right occasionally” keep you engaged in the song

I don't know if your accepting ideas, but maybe the antennas could change temporarily to his boss form's eyes and a giant arm lunges from behind him and strikes Kris with a punch. Hitting the defense not would then cause the fist to bounce off the shield and recoil behind mike and disappear.

I love how powerful the attack sounds at some parts, the entire screen shakes, and his whole tone changes whilst doing it. I'm also surprised that he stayed on that pillow every spasm.

I love how Mike’s voice becomes more forceful whenever he attacks you, it just sounds really damn cool

From someone who doesn't like the old song: Holy hell this is a banger. It doesn't feel slightly awkward. Its an audience watching the fight occur while Kris has to deal with Mike. Its just overall a better song. Good job man.

I am conflicted about the new and old version. I love the new music and smaller twitches Mike has but loved the fact that in the old version it felt like Mike's voice had much more force and made him more threatening showing his status as a star and a boss character (most likely) but I'm perfectly contented with this version and am exited for more in the future

I loved the original, and I hate to say I love it more than this version. The original reveled in it’s simplicity, and that Mike gave off an aura of complete and utter control. But it’s not like the original is going anywhere, and a lot of people who hated that version seem to like this one. Love your work, Mr. Animations and Stuff.

That's fair, I just think it felt a bit underwhelming to play the original. And Mike's voice often legitimately hurt my ears because of how loud it was in the mixing. I just aimed to make the song feel more "grand", especially with the extra section at the end. Just feels more like a show to me. I get your point though.

I like both in their own way original is nice short and pretty simple and the new one is what it's trying to be a more amped up version of the original I love both versions of showstopping however I do want the attack sound effect from the original to be in this

Although it sounds great, I loved the clash sound effect when you blocked his… remote… thing… it added a lot more than a blink. Your choice, sounds great.

I get that, it's just that I couldn't find a way to still add that without it sounding weird in the new version. I might find a way to still simulate that impact somehow through visuals but this is just how I managed to make it work. Plus, I had to make it so there's less notes in the easier difficulties, so that's part of why I changed the sound too.

@@Seeks_stuff yeah, I get that. you changed the song to be a bit more upbeat and showoffish. The original, while still my favorite for its general vibe, doesn’t have that atmosphere this has, so you did a great job changing the song without sacrificing its enjoyability.

Honestly, I think I love both the original and this one! Although I can tell that I’m definitely going to love where this one goes more. The background is vibrant as heck, not to mention fitting. The instrumentals being easier to hear let’s more of that Deltarune feel slip in, and Mike was absolutely popping off near the end! Personally, the only thing I wish was different is that sort of… I guess “BAM” feeling that Mike’s vocals gave off every time Kris had to hit a shield note in the original. It’s still here, but a some of the notes sort of lack it. But besides that, I think this is amazing so far! Edit: AND I JUST NOTICED GASTER’S THEME AT THE END! HE/SHE/OTHER PRONOUN DID THE THING!

Just when I thought the old one was amazing, This made me love the song so much more. I will really enjoy playing this when v2 comes out. :)

I loved the first song, and this version hits even harder. This entire mod is awesome, good job!

As much as I love Mike and the whole idea behind him, I know there’s no way in heck he’s gonna be the next villain in deltarune, I’m pretty sure spamton calling someone Mike is his own way of hinting at gaster, as if he can’t say those words but he can call him something Different. It makes me sad to see everyone so excited for this guy when there’s a big chance the grin on the TV is just the mouth of a completely different character… and while I do believe that the next chapter will be about tv screens and possibly the villain will be tv themed, there is absolutely no way they are gonna be what the fans expect, and I hope that doesn’t diminish anybody’s enjoyment of chapter 3…

This honestly sounds like a theme that could play when fighting Mike. I hope you upload Deltarune-style versions (would it be instrumental, idk) of the mod's soundtrack. Mainly for more views, but it would also make regular DR fans like the track more.

I love how it feels like mike is completely dominant, singing far more than kris does, being the only one to sing the chorus, and constantly attacking them, as if he's stealing the spotlight and making it all about him, which makes sense considering (from what little i know of him at least) he's such an egotistical maniac of a showhost.

Cool Remaster! I like the use of additional backing tracks to go along with the melody, and I think the end of the song starting at the laugh at 1:40 is vastly improved from the previous iteration. However, the only bit that feels weaker than the original would be the very beginning, and bits of the middle. The beginning focuses too little on their voices imo, I miss the simplicity of it just being the two's voices for a little while before the big booming starting at 1:14 Other than that, right after the Mettaton Riff, while I like the sudden shift, for just the bit between that and the laugh it sounds awkward. Overall, Really good Remix, both have strong suits, but overall I prefer this one if for nothing other than what happens after the laugh, it's too good. This last bit is just me, but the new shield noise gets on my nerves to actual unreasonable degree. I do not know why, it's probably just some random thing for me but it just feels less satisfying than it used to I guess? But that's probably just me.

I love to think that whenever the screen shakes, Mike is stamping the fingers of whoever is holding him up

Since everyone's gonna talk about the song, imma just talk about Mike's design I really enjoy how he looks! The body position is just ✨✨✨. But in my opinion: •in 0:53 there should be: a small box or in Mike's tv head, it should have a text that says "cheer" because you can hear the background people cheering and the text (cheer) glows •in 2:19 there should be: Mike's tv controller(?) is broken at that time after the last shield key (just add some electric sparkles and put an animation where it looks like he hit the button too hard). And then out of nowhere at 2:33 he clicked the button again and.. (tbh i dont know how he died/faint so- I was planning to make his death/faint because of electrocution). Oh and I almost forgot: The reason why i wanted the remote to break at that time (which is 2:19) is because that time sounded like it (the tv controller) broke •in 2:20 there should be: a little animation in Mike's tv head. Like glitches? Since he sounds like he's losing control Sorry, I can talk too much about design and all that crap, and this is not even good and i apologize for that

Honestly, I don't think any character that exists within the story of the game but that we didn't see yet had that much recognition since the big guy Gaster himself. When Chapter 3 releases, I can't wait to see the people making animations of Canon Mike vs Fanon Mike.

if there's one thing I'd love, it would be a way to play Mike's side of this chart! IDK if the engine you're using has any support for it, but it'd be super fun! Oh and, Rouxl's side of Chips Ahoyeth looks fun, too! I'd really enjoy playing as the opponent, is what I'm saying.
