    It’s a shame it’s only really clean for a single ride in these salty winter roads!

    Dude please wash your bike 2 bucket methode . And no rinse before you wash. The foam does the first job. Foam, rinse off, foam, wash 2 buckets and dry. Thats the best way for your bike ❤

    Looks amazing with the foam but with my experience with a yamaha fz6 s2 that used 1 x week jet wash after 7 years make the maths. Results.. electric problems evrywhere. Now I have same mt09sp 2022 and I wash by hand warm water plues soap...that's all she needs!

    Hi Nice video. Here in the UK as well, just about to purchase the MT09 Sp. Where do you buy your accessories for your bike? Been looking around and doesn't seem to be a lot of after market parts in UK. Thanks

    What are you looking for? There’s Pyramid Plastics, Evotech Performance, R&G Racing, GB Racing, Rizoma, MRA screens, Givi, Yamaha accessories themselves… Sure, not as many options as for a more popular bike like the R 1250 GS, but still loads.

    Thanks. Trying to get crash protectors. Going to add things on gradually. Got the radiator grill, screen and tail tidy so far. Getting bike at weekend hopefully 😬 🙏

    I highly recommend the GB Racing covers. The EP crash bungs also performed very well. Check my previous track day to see how they saved the bike!

    What rear carbon splash guard you using with your evotech tail tidy is it the pyramid plastics one?? How sturdy is it and can you do a video on it please so we can see it up close and how it fits on? Also does it cut all the crap down that sprays up at the back or just a bit?

  • @meteficha

    @meteficha

    That’s right, it’s Pyramid Plastics in carbon fibre. Some crap gets through but it cuts down by 95% I’d say. Might make a video in the future, thanks for the suggestion 👍🏿

    @Felipe Lessa mabe try adding the pyramid plastics splash plate to the bottom of the number plate they only cheap and may cut the crap down even more? But yes a reveiw of the carbon splash gard would be a great idea as there are no reveiws of them on KZread so that would surely be a sure fire hit amoung us mt09sp owners world wide. You coukd also talk about how easy waz it to fit on the bike and its construction and how longvit took to come etc. Plus all yiur findings coupled with the evotech tail tidy. Brilliant idea that.

    Hey, what kind of rear wheel splash guard are you using? And does it work? I've been looking for splash guards for my MT-09 SP, cause with the short tail tidy it throws up so much dirt all the way up to the back of my helmet, which is disgusting. Could you share some info on the rear splash guard you have?

  • @meteficha

    @meteficha

    It’s the Pyramid Plastics mud guard in carbon fibre. It cuts some 95% of the crap. Definitely nothing on the helmet anymore, just a bit on the seat if you’re going through somewhere really filthy.

    @@meteficha Do you have photos or videos of it fitted from the other side of the bike, where the arm can be seen? I've been looking at it and the one by Access Design, and there's tons of cheap options on Ali too, but their quality is probably so-so.

    @@neonix01 there ya go: ibb.co/LCVTZk0 . I had a lower quality unbranded one on a previous motorcycle and it was pretty bad looking. This one is worth the money.

    @@meteficha Many thanks! Pyramid's own pictures on their website doesn't show it on an MT-09. It looks much better in your photo than on their product website. I think this is the one to get! Thanks again.

    No it’s not. Read the manual. It’s designed to work with the quick shifter and requires tighter specs than the previous 2 gen’s. Most people will set at at the looser end of the specs and all is good.
