Wood Elves won't ever come to AoS because they are in The Old World and GW has a policy of not overlapping ranges between games if possible, Vampire Counts is literally just Soulblight Gravelords though, they're already in AoS.

@@mickeymalone7577 It's because Games Workshop is not one large company, it's several companies in one big trenchcoat, and they are competing with each other. When you buy miniatures marked for ToW for use in AoS it is the "Specialist" team that gets the sales, not the "Main" team, this is also why all the Horus Heresy models have moved to legends in 40K, because the budgetting department wants their ledgers to clearly show where money is coming from and what projects deserve funding. It's dumb, I feel it should easily be fixable somehow, but it's the way they decided to run it, maybe it will change in 5 years, who knows.

@@mickeymalone7577 It is actually a very interesting topic, because this seems to have been a very recent heel turn at GW, and seems to have come to a surprise to the teams as well, because ToW as an example was initially planned to have all the factions, but at some point very close to release after their rules had been written they were declared off limits and delegated to Legacy, or the Kratos Battle Tank, which was a completely new kit that came out with Horus Heresy 2nd edition, only a year before this decision, and it was explicitly marketed as being both for 30K and 40K, so either they knew and were maliciously marketing something that was always planned on becoming obsolete for 40K players in the hopes it would sunk cost them into getting into 30K as well, or it wasn't communicated to anyone internally at that point, or maybe it wasn't even decided yet. It wouldn't be the first time communication was lacking inside GW, the End Times for WHFB came to a surprise to everyone involved, with many planned books and miniatures getting the axe.

@TheLordOfAllDucks it's peculiar when the new fulgrim model dropped I assumed it would be both 40k and 30k as it's emperor's children's turn to be in the codex spotlight.

My biggest issue with the new Warlock Engineer is that it is neither a warlock, nor an engineer.

The best part is all the small rats all over the models they started to add after Island of blood rats

What if you take your Stormcast, but replace their heads with rat heads? And you can even snip off their tails and glue them on the Stormcast's behinds! You can make your own rat-humanoid-knights. Rat angels anyone? I am building my Space Marines with old saurus heads and tails for that Saurus Marines look, which doesn't feel humanlike at all. Why build humans when you can replace their heads with other humanoid races?
