How much of a damage improvement is it? I remembered seeing that it's only 4-8% better than Gilded in hyperbloom, and that it stacks additively with Nilou. So I thought that gilded is a bit better

@@gvarph7212 the improvement depends on the amount of em, so it can be within that range or even lower/higher. for me it's in the upper range due to how many em buffs are in nilou teams. I also want to go for the highest hits. gilded is mainly efficient due to being in the same domain as deepwood, not that it's necessarily equal to fopl.

​@@jamiekb9vhello I have a question So i use nahida nilou yao yao xingqiue and yao yao is the on-fielder of course but her em is very low i only have nahida and xingqiue with 800 em so will this effect the blooms? Cuz xingqiue is the one creating it but sometimes yao yao can create it too so who's em will buff the bloom only xingqiue or yao yao

i made an alright nilou team when i first pulled her, but seeing this has inspired me to invest more into it and trying out the collei team was awesome, i gave her 4pc emblem and an aqua simulacra (got really lucky so i have an extra) and its hilariously good. thanks a lot for the inspiration

This is a very good build im impressed! The problem with building nilou is similar to kokomi’s, they both only care for 2 or 3 stats which makes artefact minmaxing pretty tedious

​@@utaita8214 They should make something that you at least get the main stat in a easy way, and then you would only break your head with the Subs. But since the game has been around for more than two years and nothing has appeared yet, I doubt it will happen. "Quality of Life" in Genshin is shit after you get at the "End", maybe even before.

As Nahida came out i was like "nice now i can replace dendro traveler and collei for Yelan and Nahida, less characters i have to level up to 90" Great video with good explenations of the teams

Thanks for posting! I'm excited to get Nilou in 3.6 and am increasingly confused by just how many sets seem great for bloom lol. I'm not sure when I'll start farming the new sets (maybe when Fontaine is closer) so for now Nilou will have 2pc hydro/2pc EM. I don't really want to change my Kokomi's artis from clam since I am lazy but depending on how Kaveh ends up working with her team I might not need her in the long run. I assume he'd want flower of paradise lost? It gets overwhelming because there are legit so many options it seems

Hi Jamie, I did get Nilou on the recent patch and got her build with artis I alr have. I currently run a Nilou/Kokomi/Nahida/DMC team atm with Kokomi on full EM, I wanted to ask is there any significant difference in using Collei VS DMC? (My Collei is unfortunately only C1 but my DMC is C6).

would you build candace in the future for nilou teams? and how would you build her?

I heard that Kokomi rerun is in the middle of summer, I will definitly pull for her since I already own Nilou and Nahida. Im thinking about giving her ATK, Hydro DMG and HP Artifacts but im not entirely sure. Mabye I do need to farm some better EM Artifacts?

Luckily, while farming for my geo characters I got some nice clam pieces for my Kokomi. But I have a question, I want to pull for Ganyu since I don't have her and seeing she would come with Kaveh I thought he could fit into Nilou teams, once Kaveh is out do you think he will be a good pick in Nilou teams? I've seen a lot of information but it seems there's no clear agreement in that regard

The issue I see with Kaveh is that either, you play triple hydro with Kaveh as the bloom trigger (Xingqiu and/or Yelan could run their usual non EM builds) or you just use him to apply dendro, using a personal damage focused build for Kaveh. Option 1 could be a decent option in single target, but due to Kaveh's not too great dendro application, it shouldn't feel great in AoE and in option 2 he is very replacable for more flexible off-field options. Could still go either way though.

Thank you So for Nilou EM help her with bloom dmg when she is on field only or also when she is off field and her skill is active? I have her with like 60k HP and like 500 EM without her weapon. should I keep it that way or try to get better HP substates?

Thanks for the detailed explanations! Just got Nilou and with her sig and the new +20% HP 2PC (+20% HP 2PC) she's sitting at 73.8K HP. I didn't exactly love having to switch ALL of my Kokomi artifacts but I did manage to get her on a tripple EM GD set. Her total raw EM is 950 but healing is pretty meh now unfortunately. I liked your hybrid build of hers and plan on getting her an OHC set with probably 1 EM piece to stike a good balance between her reaction dmg and healing. Same team as yours. Had started with YaoYao first and while I like her, I like Collei's gameplay more. Do you find that Kokomi with a good OHC set is enough single-target dmg that you don't have to slot in Yelan or Xingqiu?

I think the single target performance with collei is pretty good. abyss floors are usually mixed with aoe and st too so i don't really get better performance with yelan/xq

Hey Jamie, thanks for this video. I wanted to ask something. My team is going to be Nilou, Nahida, Xinqiu and Yaoyao. I am wondering since I'll give Nahida Deepwood, which artifact set should be given to Yaoyao? I see that you have 2pc Deepwood and Gilded equipped on ur Yaoyao, but since she'll barely add any damage to the team while also barely triggering any blooms herself, wouldn't that not be optimal? Maybe I am just getting too deep into minmaxing here....but I would like to hear your thoughts.

How valuable would it be to run instructors on Collie? You’d lose personal damage in favor of higher overall bloom damage.

I have similar em artifacts with high recharge but in Gilded, is it good too or I have to farm flower of the paradise?

sac frags would be worse if you never need the refresh. so probably depends how strong your gameplay is

c2 is definitely a big upgrade but I recommend trying out each teammate to see which fits your playstyle best.

Thanks for the video, it seems that I'll have to play with different setups to decide what I prefer, but the guide was amazing and really made me realize the possibilities, I'll probably only have Nilou and not her weapon but at least I'll have jade cutter for the 20% HP passive so I'll be sitting on ~62k HP.

@@gabrielvitor9344 I have an standard 2 piece EM/HP build. My flower and feather has 20% and 26% HP rolls respectively. A have a couple of flat HP rolls but nothing crazy.

Jamie, not needing that much healing, would full EM instructor set the best choice for Yaoyao in (Nilou C0(Iron Sting), Nahida C0(Sac R5/WidsithR5), Yelan C0(Elegy)) team ? If no, what set should I use on her ? And what weapon in that case ? Thanks, I really appreciate ur guides o/

i'm not a big fan of instructor on yaoyao because her skill doesn't have an instant hit to trigger intructor. makes her quite goofy to play

actually I covered that in this video watch from 11:18 . kokomi needs some healing stats otherwise the on fielder will take too much damage. try mess around with builds and see what is playable for you

Hi, I'm planning to get Nilou this upcoming patch and want to run her with Kokomi, Dendro MC, and Nahida. Should I get Deepwood on dendro MC because my DW actually is way worse than Gilded. My DW only has ER and rarely any EM.

Nahida is the best 4p DW holder because of her consistent Dendro application, while Dendro MC is Burst-reliant. Just use whatever you have for MC and make sure you have enough ER to Burst every rotation Jamie did explain this in Collei with Emblem video

EM is very good for her yes. As covered in the video, since you only want 3 stats (HP,EM,ER) and HP% artifacts are common its not hard to farm for these stats

The EM does give Nilou more damage on her cores compared to the HP bonus, but usually Nilou doesn't take ownership of too many cores so I think it might be worth it to get the extra 20% HP over the EM.

wouyld you be going for c2 nahida? i assume that would be such a significant boost for your teams

bloom damage loss is big but her non reaction damage goes up. overall it's generally not too much weaker but more survivability. If you want to learn more, you can watch my previous video "Kokomi's New Bloom Build: Why my New Artifacts don't have as much EM!"

From my experience, it depends on the enemy lineups. Collei with Sac. Bow is better against mobs, while Yaoyao is better when you need additional heals and there's only few enemies.

Is there any reason why you dont use yaoyao nahida candace nilou team?

i have 10k less hp than you with festering in double hydro.. u think it's ok or should i keep farming hp% subs over 15%?

So I'm planning on pulling nilou on the next patch but I also have nahida c1 so would key be a bigger upgrade or should I prioritize c2 nahida

I think Nahida C2 will give you more damage, but will also benefit other teams a lot more if you choose to not run Nahida in Nilou bloom.

I'm new to the Nilou club and just loving her. I have Nilou on the Key. Nahida with 1000 floating dreams. But i have an extra 1000 floating dreams. Is it good on Kokomi?

Imo. I recommend Barbara since you can just move her artifacts and weapon to Kokomi, once you get her. She can use Sac. Fragments and has emergency heal- Candace is only worth when you have her C2 or C6. Without those, her Burst is very short, lacking of Hydro applications and needs a pretty high ER. She is best paired with Yaoyao, if you do build her.

yes to simplify, bloom damage uses the character's EM and Nilou's HP. kagura is okay for Nahida although you can also try the widsith

Hey, so a bit of an off topic question, but since you have experience with both freeze teams and Nilou teams, should I pull for Shenhe to upgrade my freeze teams (have both Ayaka and Ganyu, using Mona Venti and Rosaria\Diona as supports since I don't have Kokomi or Kazuha), or should I pull for Nilou to buff my Nahida teams (currently running her with c0 Kuki or Raiden when hyperblooming)? what would be overall better investment into abyss from your personal opinion? I usually have only 1 other go-to team which is Raiden national (I can't figure out how to fit sucrose instead of raiden unfortunately).

there's no real way to quantify it and I'm not really into the whole "pull value" stuff. luckily, raiden national doesn't use characters from either of those teams so you can really just pick whoever you want to play more. as I play both of them I can't really say so you're just gonna have to make that decision for yourself. perhaps you can watch my previous videos to help decide which you like more 👍

It honestly really depends on preference. Nahida teams don't really necessitate Nilou so you can just go with Hyperbloom or even play Spread oriented teams with Yae and Haitham. Since you play Ayaka I would suggest going for Shenhe since her buffs allow Ayaka to frontload more of her damage, gives more flexibility through occasionally weaving through press and hold (for the rare occasions of using your NA CAs for weaker mobs at times) Since Nahida/Rational is your ST team I'd suggest upgrading your AOE team by rolling Shenhe and then save up for Kazuha later on.

And that is despite reasonably good artifacts (that is, actually having EM as main stat on hyperbloom artefact set).

@@Fabelaz Cause there are lots of factor, plus Abyss doesn't push the use of specific team, while some team can have smoother run on specific Abyss period it doesn't prevent other team to full star em. Personally I would go for Nilou. Shenhe can boost Ayaka team, but so far it isn't neccesary. While getting Nilou means new team to play with & new team experience. We can get Shenhe when she get another rerun after all.

do you think candace/yaoyao teams are good(or atleast enough to clear abyss), and how does something like nilou/candace/nahida/yaoyao compare to something like nilou/barbara/nahida/yaoyao? barbara and yaoyao dont really work togheter but its not too bad(or atleast i dont think so), and also, how do yaoyao teams compare to other teams, such as nilou/barbara/nahida/DMC? also, how important is kokomi in place of barbara in some of the aformetioned teams? thanks a lot

yes the team has been clearing abyss fine! if you have candace at c6 then it can compare very well, but ultimately its different playstyles and different healers so players always have to test themselves to see which styles they prefer the best. and kokomi is a good general upgrade over barbara, but barbara has some advantages too.

Would you reccomend C2 Collei or C1 Yaoyao? I’ve been running into this problem a lot since I’ll be running my team with Nahida and Nilou, as well as (either Collei or Yaoyao) and yelan as my last character Idk if I should stick to my dendro traveller though, along with Nahida Nilou and Barbara..

How much damage difference is there between Nilou signature weapon and 4-star alternatives with em-main stat like Iron sting

pretty significant difference. Aside from the 86.6% hp, the key's passive is amazing

For Nilou, Nahida and Kokomi team, who do You recommend as last character in party? Traveler or Collei? I don't wanna use Yelan and Xingqiu cause they have more dps builds not EM ones and are mostly used with Hu Tao. I think Nahida alone is not enough, so I'm looking for another dendro unit.

Hi May I ask how much ER does Yelan need in triple Hydro team? I'll pull Nilou and plan to use this exact comp. People always talk about double hydro ER needs,but does that mean XIngqiu+Yelan or any two hydro? So how much a C0 Yelan need here with Stringless for example? Can I mitigate the loss from not using Fav Bow by using Fav Sword on Nilou? Also what is a good EM number on Nahida? Mine is more crit build and 400 EM Widsith R1 because I use her in Hyperbloom. Do I need to rethink Nahida EM/Dendro Bonus/Crit Dmg or it's fine? Thank you in advance. Great guide.

@@jamiekb9v Thank you. How do you guys calculate your ER needs? Trial and error? I always overshoot on ER it seems. I had close to 300% on Xingqiu on Rational, 240% on Yelan double Hydr. Hyperbloom.

For this team we should pull Nilou signature weapon first, then go to Nahida C2, finally Nilou C2?

if i use nilou yelan nahida and yaoyao, should i give nahida or yaoyao the deepwood set?

Thats actually a good question i never thought abt.. but thing is yubei is unreliable to keep proccing the passive to enemies+skill cd so there's that

Which characters should be leveled to 90 ? Im guessing kokomi and nilou are a must but I'm not sure about collei and nahida.

On a bloom team everyone creates reactions so everyone needs EM and lvl90

Noticed you don't build much er on nahida. Is that deliberate or just artifact luck?

115% is pretty good I think

the thing i hate about collei is that she needs to stay really close to enemies to hit them with her returning boomerang and her passive ring, also i dont have kokomi so i have to go for barbara which means i'll have to stick even harder to the target

Hey Jamie, I don’t have Kokomi, so I’m wondering if Barbara nahida nilou collei will be better than the yaoyao xingqui/yelan nahida nilou variant? I’m planning to get Kokomi eventually.

since they are very different playstyles, try both in the abyss and see which one clicks with you better

collei is a bit weird to play and barbs kept getting interrupted in my runs🤣. so the second team with xq worked better for me.. what did u choose, since comment isn't new?
