@@liokobayashi5998 yeah,for all those who sang that ost for the represent of each counttry in asia janella was gained popularity and more accurate voice of ost but unfortunately she did not pick to sing that song..fellow pinoy disappointed to the result..but we could expect the unexpcted and moving forward but her entry for that song still remain to those who watch her perf..look at her now she sang that same song again..thats why many people who watch her thinking that it looks like she's the real singer who sang that song..i wanted to answer them "yes she is".

Steph and Stell are two vocally gifted artists.Kudos to Janella she sounds really good here, and she improved a lot.

He did made a cover with their teacher singing a whole new world. It is in one of their older videos. Stell was so young then and so thin. :)

Janella’s mom was the first to play Kim in Miss Saigon on its original run in West End London, after Leah Salonga’s turn on Broadway. Leah was also the singing voice for Jasmine on Disney’s Aladin.

These performances were for the offical launch of Disney+ in the Philippines. I think the 30-min. Show was just streamed online, might be the reason why there were no audience. Janella was chosen to sing "How Far I'll Go" to promote Moana in the Philippines. Disney Asia does this thing where they choose local artists from each country in SEA to officially cover the main soundtrack as promotion for an upcoming Disney movie in their respective countries. Merry Christmas as well!🎉🎄

It's called a "Vocal Cry", what you were referring Alex on 7:18. It's something that almost all FIlipino singers have mastered naturally. I read somewhere that other American producers even send their singers to a vocal lessons just to learn that vocal technique. If you've listen to how Morisette Amon sing specifically her "Secret Love Song" cover, there's a lot of that vocal technique.
