How I wish sheryn Regis was there.. ! It's perfect

According to an interview of Regine, I remember she said she cannot do the same belting and reaching high notes she used to do because she has problem with his vocal chords now. She can still belt but she was adviced to limit it. That's why during this show as a Filipino used to hear Regine's voice you can notice that she really limits her belting and reaching high notes due to her vocal problems. But still she is the ASIA'S SONG BIRD. THE QUEEN.

I WAS HERE LIVE!!! This was during the first night of Regine's 2-night 30th Anniversary concert. You can not see it on the video but on the start, Mori was on the side and as soon as Regine went up that stage and started to sing, SHE CRIED like a baby! It was her first time singing with Regine and she sobbed with so much happiness at the ladies took turns for their spot with Regine. Such a sweetheart. Angeline cried too and Julie Anne cried backstage. It was a big big moment and everyone was just really inspired. Before the prod was over, Regine made the girls stepped forward and said "MEET YOUR NEW QUEENS!!!" They were singing all of Regine’s English Hits. On the second night, she had Sarah Geronimo sing with her her Tagalog Hits Medley.

Blane, one reason why most Filipino singers admire Regine is that she's so supportive! She attends their concerts for free. And when she guests them to her concert, she makes sure they get the highlight (just like what you see in the video. Guests sing the higher notes and she asks them to go in front of the stage). :))

Aicelle Santos with a velvety voice was a great revelation in this concert. You can also check her LA DIVA performances with Jona, notably their ANGELS BROUGHT ME HERE version😄

The 3rd singer was Aicelle Santos. She is the Flair Songstress of the Philippines. She played "Gigi" in the west end adaptation of Miss Saigon.

Watching Regine in a live performance is an experience. You feel the thunderous power of her voice coursing through your body. You hear people say that her voice will blow the roof off the place and it’s certainly true.

I heard Julie Ann and Morisette were both sick during this concert. Jona’s dad was also dying at the hospital.....but they all pulled through just to pay respect to the Queen!!!

He is a musician , song writer , and National artist revered by all in the Philippines. For his 50th year in the business he chose Regine ,one of his favorites , to deliver this song in the concert finale. Fast forward 10 years, he chose a 17 year old (at the time) Morissette , another of his favorites, to deliver the same song in the finale at his 60th Anniversary concert. I think that is most likely why that song was chosen for their moment. Goosbump City!!!

Vividly remember when I watched that concert in SM MOA Arena, it was unexpected. Having Mori and Jona and Angeline in the lineup which was the expected young belters, Aicelle single-handedly stole the moment from everyone and wow the crowd with that stunning belting. But for the record, Aicelle is an accomplished singer and theatre performer (no less than being in Ms Saigon UK and Germany)

Hi Blane! I really enjoyed your videos and this the 3rd video I've watched from you and I really enjoy your reaction videos. This video's so nostalgic as I was there live near the stage. I literally took my time off work just to witness this amazing moment. This part of the concert is a surprise performance. This shows that all of the birit singers are inspired by the queen herself who started it all. I'm lucky to meet and hear all these singers individually but let me also share some information from the birit queens The one in yellow is Angeline Quinto and hailed as the soap opera theme song queen. The one in orange is Julie Anne San Jose, the Philippines Pop Sweetheart. She's sick at that time , with high fever yet still managed to weeeerk on her performance. The one with the velvet voice is Aicelle Santos. She had her vocal chords operated for they suddenly tore down. She wasn't allowed to sing nor speak for 2 months after the operation. Good thing she got her voice back. She is mostly active on live stage Broadway performances so no wonder she has the same loud voice as the queen Yes, next one's Jona, a TV singing competition champion with Regine as the host. They shared good times together. And lastly, the Morissette Amon. Literally saw her career soar high like a Phoenix (she's the Asia's Phoenix btw). I started following her by the time she sings for free at cheap malls with only few people watching. So proud of this woman.
