Seriously people need to move on from U&D or Ah Yeah, but the thing is when something went viral, it's gonna take time to get out of its shadow, like how Psy and Gangnam style has been too well-known and when Gentleman came out people got disappointed. It's the same for EXID, they need to get a strong base and the uniqueness in their music in order to get people remember them. I'm sure they will try different concept in the future, but if people didn't really notice, they already tried several concepts before like hiphop and r&b-ish (Whoz Dat Girl and Every Night), yet they have to wait until U&D and suddenly gain the popularity they deserved.

+Mary Le Totally agree with you. In reality there are so many new songs every week in Kpop. Only a small numbers of songs and groups get popular even if they are very good. U&D and Every Night are both good songs (I like Todak Todak too) but they were ignored by the public when first released. All the good things about EXID members were found after they become famous. It was so sad when I think about their living without salary for 12 months in 2013. However, good is not enough. EXID needs to build their own style and understand their strength and weakness. Ah Yeah was coming out at the right timing and now Hot Pink might (or might not) let them slow down a bit. A strong base and the uniqueness in their music is very important.

totally agree with you ...I'm fan of exid..but I think this is not as good as previous comeback....not only exid but many kpop group failing to reinvent ..they do same things over and over ..it makes kpop stagnant water....I hope kpop won't loose its way and lost itself in the wave ...

This sounds nothing like Up & Down or Ah Yeah...the only reason people are saying that is because of the fact that Hyelin and Solji are singing at the same times as the previous two songs. I personally find this song really fun! The chorus, imo, is a bit lacking, but I love the rest of the song. Hyelin has so much more energy this comeback, I love seeing her enjoy the stage so much!

Thing I've noticed is that EXID's latest few songs have the same...tone, and way it's sung? As in the chorus is sung at the start, then Hani sings, then LE raps, and then it's Hyelin leading up to the chorus, and then Solji singing the high notes of the chorus, then Junghwa is last, or sometimes Hyelin and Junghwa switch.. Idk about everyone else, but this sounds very similar to Ah Yeah.

I don't think so. 'Hot Pink' sounds very different to 'Up&Down' and 'Ah Yeah', maybe you and a lot of people say that because the girls sing in the same order as the others... I respect your opinion, of course. I don't think this is a bad comeback since the song when you listen to it a few times becomes more catchy and they look awesome in the scenario... But I hope that for the next comeback they release a song like 'Without you', '1m' or 'Pat pat' 😊

Hmmm. I don't mind that EXID is clearly doing what's been working for them with the way the song is written (funky/hip kinda verses then the main vocalists take over for the choruses much like with U & D and Ah Yeah) but idk about the concept and the song itself. It makes me wonder what other songs were candidates for this comeback, because I can't help but feel like there had to be much better options.

I'm not particularly amazed by Hyerin's vocals, she sounded amazing before and she does it now, but her stage presence was magic, she truly improved in that aspect. I hope she keeps that spirit, it was awesome. Everyone looked amazing and killed the show. So great as always
