The new Kurio ad reminded me of this ad because I was interested into Showbiz and Chuck E Cheese stuff on KZread in 2007-2008 or something.
Are they trying to capture the spirit of the classic “Little Rascals” shorts?
For a second I was expecting some sports girl running down the aisles with a sledgehammer and throwing it at the screen. (Mac “1984” comm..)

There was a different version of this commercial that used to air in the 90's. At the end of the commercial, a few of the kids would be yanked out of the crowd and pulled into a room. The remaining kids wouldn't know what was going on, so they would start crying. Then the lights would get low and they would play some low droning sounds and the remaining kids would all file into a second room where they were forced to make pizza. A man in a trenchcoat would make sure they didn't fall asleep.
