Kim Tae-ri looks like an idol, hahah.. And I am happy that Kim Min Hee is doing a role she wanted to do since years ago.. :P I am so glad for this adaptation, from my fav book!!

@@svf2006 so true omgggg hahaha I thought The Handmaiden and Parasite have similarities (poor people initially trying to scam rich people, dynamic between different social classes, good unexpected plot twists...) but I didn't realize they both have fucked up parts with a basement 😂😂

It’s 2022 and I’ve only seen this korean movie. All I can say is that 2016 was not ready for this masterpiece. This film is astounding; it deserves global recognition!

Watching Kim Tae-ri's characters in "The Handmaiden" and in "Little Forest", my mind is boggled by the range of her performances! This is the first movie I've seen Kim Min-hee in, but her performance is very amazing and the chemistry between her and Tae-ri is explosive! They are two very beautiful ladies. I will definitely seek out more films by both these actresses to watch. Kamsa hamnida!

I saw some of Tae-ri's other works, like Space Sweepers and Mr. Sunshine, which was one of her best performances (after the Handmaiden, of course). Oftentimes, I contemplated over her various performances and compared her past roles, and I couldn't help but think "How tf is this the same person?" She's one of those actresses where you just don't automatically think of her as a past role she took when you watch her. Shows just how versatile she is, and that makes her a fantastic actress.

Nayeon and Jihyo recommended this Movie and I just can't help but watch it. They were right, It was worth it! I love everything about the movie! The twist, love, the cast, everything was worth it!

This is recommended by Jihyo of TWICE and she's right, it's worth watching for. I love the storyline, the twist, their acting, it's all satisfying to watch. I even downloaded this cuz' I think I'm gonna watch this a lot of times, it's not bec. of the erotic scenes but their chemistry, their gazes for each other it makes my heart flutter huhu. It's a beautiful movie, sadly I just find it out this 2020 :(

If you are not aware, This movie story is adopted from Fingersmith english mini series. First Half until the Mad house is same in both. But 2nd half is Messed up in Fingersmith, But Handmaiden is beautifully made. (Story is different in second half in Fingersmith)

kim tae ri the whole time i was watching mr sunshine and the handmaiden i was like: why does she look SO familiar!? it was literally driving me nuts, but when she smile/laughs at 3:12 and 3:20 it kind of clicked that she looks a little bit like kim hyang gi and that’s most probably why i thought i had seen her in something else and that she looked familiar.. anyways great actress, amazing performance on her part in both projects, both had an amazing cast and director 👌👏
