That's true, the problem with the Tories is that they didn't use *enough* childish and disingenuous rhetoric. Great point there.

Odd that Kenny Everett's questionable remarks weren't included in the edit but Mrs Thatcher's speech was. I wonder how the "young people giving their lives over to the state" line works with the 2024 Conservative policy of demanding young people volunteer for community work or National Service.
