Some very good riders, I wouldn't have done that well in those situations.

So don't get the 1st jump right and just whip and push forward to the next without the correct set up. These are very high and it's the riders job to set the line correctly not the horses to recover after an issue.

1:14 that corner was way too tight. There was no way the horse could have made it.

It's like the horse can't see the barrier sometimes.

No wonder the horses stall at a jump, tie downs too tight and yanking on the reins just before take off,yeah, bet that felt good in the horses mouth.

SUCH AN ABUSIVE 'SPORT' = for the animal's welfare and consideration it should be totally outlawed ! Most of these 'horsemen' have no pity or true love for the animal........ it's just a means of gaining their own 'credits', pride and notoriety = IS IT REALLY WORTH DAMAGING SUCH A BEAUTIFUL ANIMAL? Please stop it . . . for the horse's sakes, and for us horselovers!

This is very blatantly false. Many horses are actually bred to do this and love it. Most horse riders are mature and very well trained in what they do. What you’re seeing here is one day out of a hundred million. Simple mistakes. It’s a sport. Sometimes they happen. If you were to ban the sport permanently, you’d leave millions of horses out of work, likely out of homes, and without a purpose. I own a jumper who absolutely LOVES what he does, to the point where you can see his sadness when he isn’t able to do it. I’d hate to see a world where that’s taken away from him.
