I got 12 hours of sleep. That helped.

Crazy night for sure. It totally brought me to the episode of Friends where Feobe has a smoke alarm meltdown. Of course she got to meet a cute firefighter, so theres that. 😂

I realized that I almost sounded snarky when I said that. It wasn't at all meant that way. I have had a number of people super confused that the blonde, floral dress wearing, pink toenailed, stereotypical housewife was so into horror, murder, Halloween spookery... and even went through an outwardly goth phase... LOL! One of my step sons tried to introduce me to Emo music once. He had no idea of the brilliant goth/emo culture cross overs in the late 90's and early 2000's.

Socks are one of my favorite things to knit. Not had much time for yarn lately but I love ever moment I get 💖 everything your working on is beautiful as always. Omg your so right today was crazy hot out

You have been a bit busy in your personal life... It was sweltering. We had to go into Cola and it was 104 in downtown. Hubby works out at the airport and it was 104 there. So I was lucky it only hit 101 at the house.

I have heard of the Hodag and I love Wisconsin! If I had to move to a place with proper Winter, Wisconsin is high on the list. Hubby said it was fine as long as it isn't near the industrial cities.

Hey Carrie! Oh no, I'm so sorry that alarm thing happened! I have a less dramatic story about our smoke detectors. We normally don't have long power outages, but one night it was out for hours. Well, 3 of our upstairs alarms started going off with no smoke. I have never found a chair and removed batteries faster in my life 😂🤦‍♀️ Your socks are beautiful! I wish you luck on your cast on 💙

So, this new system, if an alarm comes down the panels freak. When you unplug the system I was still getting calls every 3 hours that the system was unplugged. Since these are all connected it freaks out at everything...

Well, we don't have Cryptids, but we have the Jolly Green Giant and lots of Sprouts around town (Blue Earth, MN!) lol! You make me hot just looking at you today! Your socks look so beautiful. Thanks for sharing everything with us! 👽💜

Yup...Hotter than Satan's underarm in August...

The place I mentioned to you in the comments of your previous video is called the International Cryptozoology Museum and is located in Portland, Maine, about an hour and a half from me. The brewery next door is amazing too, plus there's a cool children's museum right there too, or at least it looked cool online. We don't have kids and didn't have time to check it out on my last trip up there.

Hope you’re having time to use the pool. I see you on that cat hair fluff. Our one short hair puts out more hair than all the others I’ve ever had. You mentioned keeping our eyes open for fun sock patterns. The Stash-down Diaries Is making a neon pair of Corn Maze Socks by Dana Rae Makes that are super cool. Oh no. Alarm systems can be such a pain when things go wrong. We removed the smoke alarms from ours when I was a kid because the smock alarms went off every time we opened windows or ran a fan. Just way to sensitive to air particles. And without air conditioning we needed a breeze.

I wanted to so bad, but I invested in the needles and didn't want to break one...

We have an area called Spook Hollow. No shops or sights. Just ghost chasers go out there. I stay away from it after dark. That was really dumb on adt's part. Especially since it had already went off more than once.

They had me so annoyed. All of the techs were fantastic, but consumer service was daft!

Don't forget The Lizzard man right in South Carolina Lee County. You may be able to see the car it chewed up. No guarantee. Love Heather. Thinking abouts a blanket in red black and white. Love the c2c blanket. Oh yes another big foot in The Adirondack mountains NY. You can see big foot crossing signs. Famous sighting bt a police officer there. Vermont has their own lock nest monster. There are so many. That's just a few off the top of my head. Sounds like a fun trip.

We went out one night when we couldn't sleep on the hunt for Lizard Man... So basically we drove around listening to music at 2 am... LOL! Champ is Vermont. He is in Lake Champlain. I got the softee a couple of years ago. We crossed from NY on the ferry to VT and spent a week in VT.

Island they have laws on where you can't build as I want to say Elves or trolls live there. I love watching different Travel Channel shows on these subjects. I have a real interest in cryptic creatures. I believe many are from different dimensions.

You have a lovely accent when you're flustered! Were you really that nice to the alarm company?? I'm afraid my Marine mouth would be prominent by the second time?

I tried so hard to not be mad at the person on the phone. It wasn't their fault. The last woman did tick me off. She kept telling me that it was my fault the panel was going off. I kept telling her that I turned it off because it was going off again, not that it went off because I turned it off and reset the panel. She kept trying to blame me.

Yes, definitely come to Wa state! Lmao after the fact re: alarm… the 2nd time they said, “ let me just turn that off from our end.” I’d have been like, “I don’t believe you anymore” …lol still trying to not laugh, cuz funny now, but not so much then.

I hope not. Once the system gets stable, it seems to be okay. But getting there...

It felt hot to me today. It got up to 77. It has warmed up this week it was in the 50's last week. You have made so many socks lately. Do you prefer top down or toe up? Do they have knit tube sock patterns. I give up on the heels. I have used your C2C tutorial, and it worked great.

77 is a dream to me! That is in my zone of perfection for highs! So I prefer toe up, you can try them on as you go. There are tube socks, there is one that has a rib that rotates around the foot to bend around the heel tighter. But I wouldn't give up on heels. Try the shadow wrap; it is easy and beginner friendly with Denise's video. She really does make socks accessible to all. I am so glad my C2C helped. I never know how well I do explaining things. To me many things yarn are natural at this point.
