Extremely clever tactics here. I did something similar, with my party staying up there and shooting at the levers, and Shadowheart casting spiritual weapon to lure Grymm towards the center. It did the trick, but I had the mephits still coming after my party as they can fly. But luckily they have low hitpoints

First, i wanted to cancel its "Prime Target" feature by not using an attack roll ( Cloud of daggers ). I assumed that by not having a target, Grym wouldn't know who to attack. I removed the "Prime Target" feature. However, it still went after me. So i thought... Will i confuse the system by giving it a "fake buff ( Sanctuary ") and not having a "Prime Target". Since Sanctuary still takes damage from such things as environmental attacks, I thought i could get Grym on a Stun Lock. It's taking damage from an immediate attacker ( cloud of daggers ), which i assumed would be Grym's "Primary Target". It has protection from being directly attacked ( sanctuary ), which would be given up by attacking randomly ( me ). So It's being attacked and not attacked at the same time. I thought why would Grym go after me? Luckily I got it on a loop.
