UGH this was so good in my head and it came out so blah and the coloring is just grrrrr but i think that it still packs an emotional punch so i am going to share it with you anyway :P
STORYLINE: A man comes to A, recently resurrected, and starts talking about M. Eventually he gives Ahis sigil back, which makes A question why M doesn't have it. He goes in search of M, who, after waiting so long and losing hope for A's return, has gone missing. Will he find him in time? (The slightly blurred parts throughout most of the video take place prior to this conversation.)

I thought that since it's been a year since the finale happened I'd watch some comfort modern AUs and that's how I got here. I feel worse than before and the crying doesn't stop but my life is a better somehow? this was amazing.

Plot twist - in modern year merlin and arthur meet once again. Only to find that merlin is going to die because he has been suffering from leukaemia and going to die soon. Within short time given Arthur decides to be with Merlin until his final breath. Okay. I'm done with crying. Let me just drown myself under the shower...

In the Merlin tv-series, it's Morgana who delayed Merlin protecting Arthur: first taking his magic skills then locking him in a cave preventing him to stop Mordred's vicious attack. Merlin often tried to warn Arthur about Mordred but Arthur never listened. On the battle field, Arthur hesitated allowing Mordred to wound him and eventually the complications led to death. Even being the greatest warlock, Merlin being Arthur's servant was broken because he could not save his friend. Merlin's grief was undeniable.
