    Amazing explanation sir! Thank u so much! Please make a video on normal and abnormal doppler spectral patterns in peripheral arterial disease. We have a lot of confusion with biphasic, monophasic patterns.

    Most Welcome and Thank you very much for watching! The supraspinatus tendon thickness is 5mm (approx.) and 27-30mm (approx.)in width. The probe used is High Frequency Linear probe. The frequency range for this type of probe is generally between 5 to 15 MHz.

    How to differentiate tendinosis from tear ?

  • @SarkisKlinik

    Hi, How to differentiate between partial thickness tear and tendinosis of supraspinatus tendon ?

  • @DrSamsImagingLibrary

    @DrSamsImagingLibrary

    8 ай бұрын

    A partial thickness tear is characterized by a discontinuity in the tendon fibers. This can appear as an anechoic or hypoechoic area within the tendon substance. These tears often occur on the bursal or articular side of the tendon, or within the substance of the tendon. Tendinosis is characterized by a more diffuse heterogeneity of the tendon. The tendon often appears thickened and swollen in tendinosis.

    could we diagnose shoulder osteoarthritis by ultrasound ?what does it show ?

    It is limited as compared to X-Ray or MRI. It can detect joint effusions as fluid accumulations and may detect some bone spurs but it is less effective
