Many cleaners want you to buy the pro or paid version, so they keep advertising to buy it

Another PC Guru recommends not to delete Prefetch files… do you have thoughts on that? I think his reasoning was, those files are small and do help with performance. His exception was if the folder gets excessively large… then clean it out. Anyway… I uncheck that option.

Prefetch files are a type of temporary file used by Windows to improve the startup speed of programs.Prefetch files store information about how programs launch, By analyzing this data, Windows can anticipate which files and resources an application needs when it starts.This allows Windows to pre-load this data into memory, reducing the overall launch time for the program. so there is no need to delete the Prefetch files, but even if you delete it, it doesn't effect the system or performance, if you delete it then it will refresh the system for sure,,, and build the new Prefetch file as you open the programs... and the Prefetch file is usually small....

Microsoft does not support registry cleaners as they state on their website. They discontinued their own reg cleaner back from Windows XP a long time ago

Regclean was the name!. I still have a copy.

I liked it but i uninstalled it because sometimes it's always running in the background

Windows 11 already has built in cleaning tools, so why do you need PC Cleaner?

it does deeper cleaning + also cleans third-party apps, also large and duplicate files thingi

yoooooooo , what do you thunk about wise care 365 ? i use it for decades its fast af and the clean is awesome , ignroing the reg clean part of course i dont use it all

Is excellent!. I use from 2019 and it is very good. Registry cleaner is when you uninstall something and the program leaves some empty regs.

Every OS is good with their own significance ..
