A couple things to add: While the Mario Red & Blue Switch case was hardly a different fit than the new black & white case that launched with the OLED Switch, some cases like my day 1 case fit a lot more snug. It still fits, but nah not be as protective. I also noticed the space between the glass and the bezel of the Switch body seems to be bigger on the OLED. I had barely used the thing, and there was dust and debris in the cracks. The black and white makes a smooth combination between the joy cons! The full range in motion of the of the back is pretty cool! Along with the bigger screen. I would totally get this? This was a great review good stuff!

Okay like we knew we needed an upgrade to the kickstand but THIS? It’s just so well crafted!! And to see that it didn’t even close up on me in the car through SPEED bumps!? This is what we needed all along tbh. That little flimsy kickstand whatttt haha

@@TynologyGaming Also peep those OLED scan lines I was talking about 7:37. The regular doesn’t seem to have them. Also interesting they’re going up and down where in some of my other footage it’s going diagonal. Idk if this is something normal or if it’s some anti burn-in software

@@switchunboxing oh I’m sure it’s some anti-burn-in feature at a hardware level. Seems like there’s no noticeable burn-in with these which is comforting

​@@switchunboxing I do have a yellow Switch Lite which I am satisfied with and game on pretty frequently. My brother has the normal standard switch. I think it is worth it. Depends on person to person ofc but I will get the OLED one once my switch is even more damaged than it is now :D. I love how the black color and the whole display looks on the OLED one :). I am worried about the material on the back tho cuz I cringe a lot when touching certain materials. Which one will you be using the most Shibby ? :)

@@furioushulk3266 Hey that yellow Switch Lite does look SWEEEET well I haven’t even switched everything to the OLED yet since I was editing this video for so long and I still need to do the battery test video with every switch. Was gonna do a content transfer video too so I was waiting on that but time passed me by. So idk yet!! I’m wondering how the fan is. My switch fan is kind of loud. Do you ever hear yours?

Great review and nice work on the video! I LOVE my OLED. But one thing that bothers me is that my joycons move up and down on the rail by like a couple millimeters. But I can feel it while I play. So it’s annoying. My V2 was rock solid and my joycons didn’t wiggle at all! Other than that, my OLED is my favorite system!

Thanks man! Yeah honestly I’m thinking production on any Switch can just vary. I remember Drip I think saying his Monster Hunter Switch was more sturdy but I think it’s probably just random. My white JoyCon for example I assume other people didn’t have that weird flaw mine does.

This makes it even more tempting to get an OLED!

Great review, you definitely got everything covered. I love my oled I don't think I could go back. At the same time it is hard to suggest spending $350 if someone has the v2. It was worth it to me as I play 95% of the time in handheld.

Right exactly no need to get this over the V2 unless you just want the perks! It would be like upgrading your phone 2 years later even if it’s not broken. Which people often do! And GameStop had some good trade in deals surprisingly so I wouldn’t necessarily rule it out for someone. Exactly right though it does depend on how much handheld you play. I would have gone over all this at the end of the video but the majority of people leave the video once I start to give conclusions lol

@Switch Unboxing haha yeah I understand 100% I feel like you did a great job covering it, the only thing people have asked me is do all joycons with it. I know for us that seems obvious, but I suppose nintendo does have a huge amount of casual fans.

@Switch Unboxing the concern has been do all joycons work on the oled? Just like "do the regular joycons fit on the oled". Although honestly I wouldn't worry about it. Like I said I think you did a great job, I just find it interesting how the casual has these very basic questions, as where we are concerned about fps, ratio clarity, network capabilities on the dock etc.

@@nemA96 Oh yes that’s where you could just simply mention that the rails are the same and kind of compare those and then mention that every JoyCon will work the same.

Wowza the OLED is really pretty, but I'm still happy with my regular switch haha

Nice man, honestly got the normal Wii back when it came out but since kind of derived from it and now I'am on pc instead. But I should definitly revisit the other wii consoles :)

in my opinion the oled insist a super upgrade, more like a new model... but if you wanna grab it go for it. I'm planning on getting one since my switch is PRETTY damage and the doc is kinda broken Edit: damage is mostly my or cousin falt I'm just clumsy

Kinda like my new phone I just got. My old one works, but the speaker is going out and I'm always out of storage. Videos will look better with the slightly improved camera so I'm like...okay let's go.

@@switchunboxing it's a issue that makes your screen looks green in areas that are not supposed to an example if you play animal crossing new horizon inside a building( example the house you built in the gane) the areas where there is nothing in screen and that are supposed to be black becomes green, to test that you need to be in a dark room with your console and need to try different level of brightness if you don't see anything like that. That means you are good to go
