I was going to pull for Changli at first but then saw Jinhsi's nuking capabilities and changed my mind. Also, the story quest was amazing. (I got S1 Jinhsi at 11 pity, I'm so happy!)

It's straightforward because we aimed to make it valuable. Imagine liking a character, but all I prefer are support roles and I lack DPS. To conquer the endgame content, we strived to make a wise choice,I like Yinlin, and I'm like of Changli too, but I already have Yinlin. I don't have Jiyan, so I'll try for Jinshi in that manner. By the way, I managed to get Jinshi in just three pulls, so I'm going to try for Changli as well.😛

Just a warning, Resonance liberation isn't beneficial for Encore. So you only get a 20% boost to Fusion damage. Compared to Sanhua who gives 20% ATK and 38% normal attack damage deepen (a huge part of hyper carry Encore's damage) it's not really going to be a contest unless people are missing the key to Changli's damage output. If you want her for looks then get her. But be warned, as it stands, she may not be the fantastic sub dps to Encore that people imagined.

if you consider powercreep on main dps you will never pull for a dps and always pull for a buffer/sub dps

Literally the character I dislike most of all, literally the only character out of every single one of them I'd never play, literally the only character that is 100% useless, just 70-something pulls went to absolute trash for nothing.

Got yinlin and her weapon along with an encore so for sure going for changli

Jinshi is actually quite strong if you play her like a burst damage dealer by filling up her forte gauge as much as possible. I have been able to deal a maximum 100k damage with her 4th stage skill (The dragon laser beam) even though my build is still very much incomplete(I've seen others do upwards of 325k with full build + teammate buffs). She can be pretty useful in ToA or in Hologram. I did get extremely lucky with Jinshi pulls though(Got her and her weapon in 60 total pulls) so just keep that in mind and spend pulls responsibly. Definitely will be going for Changli when she comes around.

​@@flamedash2837 I am a bit confused about your first line. I assume you mean that you have high pity in weapon banner and can get Changli's weapon in 4-5 pulls when it comes out? Because the banner isnt out yet. Either way, Changli's weapon is extremely versatile and useful on many other units. So it is definitely well worth pulling. Its very OP on Danjin for example. Jinshi's weapon is not as versatile but is still decent. (It is a must if you pull for Jinshi though as the next best option has 37% less dps) In terms of pulling characters, I honestly dont know what to suggest here. Both of them are very good. So I would suggest going for whoever you prefer the playstyle more. :)

I'm gonna get both, I already got Jinshi and will try to get Changli for my Encore. Encore was my guaranteed base 5 star and I enjoy playing her a lot, so I want to get Changli as a buffer for her. Meanwhile Jinshi is my second dps to cover TOA.

Which will you pull for? Danjin. Because I somehow went 186 pulls on Jiyan's banner and only got one. I have gotten 4 before getting Jinsi...

I've been F2P since the start, managed by some crazy grinding and luck to get both Jiyan, his weapon and Yinlin as well as Jinhsi. I'm aiming for Jinhsi's weapon next and I'll be trying for Changli as well. They are just so pretty and the elegance with which they fight has me captivated. I must have them both!

Its easier for jinhsi to dish out good damage without relying on resonance liberration(elemental burst/Ult) like jiyan. Also relyying on resonance liberation for maximum damage output requires heavy investment. (Natually harder for my fellow f2ps[except the f2ps that have good luck or have no life]) Source: me, i have them both

5-star weapons seem like such a priority for DPS in this game (difference in Encore with Stringless is night and day vs. 4-star). 100% map completion in 1.0, only used Astirite for 140 pulls for Yanglin and Stringless- that's 22400Astirtie, hitting the 50/50, which seems ideal. Needing 30k+ Astirite to confidently pull a new main DPS toy and their weapon... even as a Daily Login/Season Pass purchaser I don't have the resources to get there- and as a Strinlgess/Encore owner think I'm better off just saving for Changli.

In the future, I believe we will receive a sub-DPS with Spectro buff capabilities, and in version 1.2, a Glacio sub-DPS i think

I originally thought id like jinshi but changli's playstyle seems to be more fun I also picked encore so if i want her as a sub i can put em together, plus i think ill also be able to pull for changli's weapon too with my current pity ✌️

U got me dirty with the ending, not nice sir. My question is i have yinlin with her weapon and i managed to pull jinhsi as well, but the character i like the most in looks and animation is changli. Should i save all my pulls for her ? Or try to get jinhsi weapon since i like the big 6 digit numbers from yt videos and i have quite some fun with her atm. I have 75 pulls saved up atm and jinhsi current weapon is the 5* normal weapon.

Pulled Jinhsi with 67 pulls. Her weapon with 29 pulls. That was on release day with savings from Yinlins Banner and 1.0 stuff. Done the 1.1 update 100% including the 2 events and redid my tower for the week. Had 42 pulls saved. Tried to up my pity for Changli because why wait, right? Got 3 purple sequences and RNGeesus blessed me with Jinhsi again on my last pull. Save to say i am skipping Changli. 3rd team dps needs to wait a bit. Great Video, thank you for your effort and sorry for that wall of text... Had to get this off my chest. ✌🏻

it’s rumored that scar is gonna come out in 1.2 and now i’m torn because i was planning on skipping jinhsi for changli but IF THE RUMOR IS TRUE I HAVE TO SKIP FOR CHANGLI TO GET SCAR because i’m really frickin unlucky with pulls 😭😭😭

Another thing to keep in mind is the 4 Stars in Jinshi's banner are great except Yangyang but she's fine

I will only pull spectro and Havoc only on this game cause I like the theme of Light and Darkness. While Changli is hot I will skip (there will be more mommy vibe like her in the future) and get Camellya since they said she’s a havoc type of character and I like her design I also like Jinshi design and her gameplay. This is just for my liking cause if I pull in every banner I'm not gonna last long playing this I'll lost all the resources for future investment, tuning echos is also pain in the ass especially exps which is limited for the time being and I will have a faster burnout than any game that I’ve played at least the benefit of this is only getting 2 types of element when farming is less stressful to do.

Finally, someone said it. A lot of people were being dramatic about the Jiyan powercreep when compared to almost all the dps in the game, he's the most future-proof one in my opinion :O

My Jihnsi pulls was just a jumpscare back to back. I lost my 50/50 to Verina (which annoyed me coz i got her S1 from the standard banner a few minutes before that). Then when i was doing 2am pulls, i got Jihnsi in 8 pulls, grabbed her weapon too since i was close to pity. Then after 2 pulls i got her S1 ToT. Hoping i can get Changli so my Chixia can see some usage again-

Caved and got Jinshi. The 2 level 6 hologram bosses I hadn’t completed were killed in 30 minutes of trying with her, and 30 min after that I did all 6 levels of the new hologram as well O_o… Though tbh, considering the echos I got from just the ones I happened to already have, I got lucky there

For Low-spenders and those who are unlucky. Realistically, It's better to get Chang li if you have rover's 5* weapon. Jinsi if you have a 5* broad sword if your using calcharo or jiyan. The weapons in this game has alot of impact and not having/using one kinda affects your overall dmg, there are definitely 4* that can compete with 5* but that's only when you got their weapons fully upgraded R5. In the end, if you can clear most content without these two characters. Skipping is definitely an option and there's nothing wrong with it. Pick who you like, I prefer yin-lin's because her mid-range makes things comfortable for me and going melee pisses me off. 99% of the time.

Honestly, I should have chose Encore from the 5* selector instead of Calcharo because I barely use him and I want Changli lol

I have Yinlin and her signature weapon, but not Jiyan or his signature weapon. I am currently running Cal+Yin+Verina as main team and do have a decent Encore+Sanhua+Verina aswell. After a quick grind I am planning to do today, I will have around 7000 Astrite. I still have 1 Radiant Tide, 10 pulls into pity on Feauted Convene Banner and 101 Afterglow Coral, but already bought out the entire convene stock with Oscillated Coral. How should I go about with my pulls? Should I test my luck on JinHsi or try to properly save for Changli? (I am not too bothered about their signature weapon, I only went for Yinlin's, because of the featured 4-star weapons and the cc buff)

Jinhsi's damage output is insane she's good for endgame bosses however we haven't seen what Changli is capable of, I think I would be wise to wait for Changli before pulling and after that, you decide which character you prefer.

having yinlin , you can get jinhsi and you will get a very powerful duo , i would say that if you really want changli , you can try getting jinhsi , if she came early , take her ,if she didn't then you can go for changli ,

Jinshi will let you make a 3rd team if you give her mortefi/yuanwu +Verina/ Baizhi and you can still keep yinlin on calcharo's team. On other hand you could also make a 3rd team with Rover+ Sanhua/ Danjin and get Changli for the Encore team. Both are good options, just be aware of Jinshi needing a good weapon and if you don't have Jiyan's weapon or at least the standard 5* you should go for her signature imo

I pulled for all of them, sadly I wasn't able to get Yinlin. However, I got Jinhsi and Jiyan. Gonna try my luck for Changli

I resigned myself to fate, got a 5* at 30 pulls but lost the 50/50 on Jinhsi's banner and then I was able to test Changli and I liked her moves more than Jinhsi's and then I saw her legendary cutscenes where she showed how *massive* her role is in this patch so I'm all in for her now 🤣

I love my RC2 CALCHARO so much that i contemplated at pulling for jinshi, i ended up pulling i got her to RC1 AND SIGNATUERE AND BOY I DONT REGRET IT I HAVE MY CALCH SIDELINE FOR A WHILE

The main point is you have to enjoy having that charchter damage should not be priority

My original plan was to always go for jinhsi which i did i got herxand her weapon but then playing changli in the quest made me realize how much i like playing her but i cant get her cause i ised everything on jinhsi so now i wait for camellya

Particularly for the best i choose not draw weapons but main focus pulling both without main gear is ok as long you had many characters to divide many challenge stages...capiche(is this ok i can build character without weapons?)

Yes you can skip weapon but comparing to other games signature weapons are pretty important in kuro games, so I’d recommend to get the signature weapons for your main dps if you can afford ir

I did two single summons and got jinhsi. Did another two single summons and got jianxin. Game been blessing me ngl. Not with the weapon banner however.

changli seems to have better main team for the moment, but would not suprise me if Jinshi gets better in the future with a new dedicated support or sub dps unit beside her

I started played a couple of weeks ago and couldn't get Jiyan, so I got Yinlin instead and now I got Jinshi, no regrets but now I don't have a good weapon for her and for Calcharo 😅

I have both Jiyan and Yinlin and i'm gonna skip jinhsi for now and wait for that dedicated "spectro buffer that also do coordinated attacks" character. I'm also maining Encore so Changli seems to be the best pull for me currently.

praying that a fusion dps (better than encore) comes out soon (lost 50/50 on jihnsi banner)

Jinhsi goes great w Yinlin and Verina, you would have to change calcharo then - BUt just get who you want more honestly, im defo pulling for changli but skipping jinhsi is so hard 🙏 shes so elegant and the damage she does is insane

i already have encore set up on my guaranteed character banner, so im gonna save for changli. i also have jiyan, so i have even more reasons to skip jinhsi

I just know that like seele from star rail, even though Jinhsi is for sure going to be power crept in the future, there is always going to be that one youtuber that post them doing the most godlike damage, no hit-runs that will blow my mind. I want to get every single character, been blessed with jiyan and yinlin but now I want these two as well! Was not really going to pull for jinshi but the story really impressed me so here we are.

there is no much powercreep in the other kuro games so i don't think we can compare hsr to wuwa , but there is always a possibility

At this point I'm just collecting dragons. Jinshi is so much fun to play but I lost my 50/50 on her at 72 and then eventually got her and her weapon. Jiyan came to me at 3 and now I have two good DPS characters I enjoy playing.

Yes, yinlin works good with jinhsi because of her punishment marks. But go for a character you like

Personally I’m skipping both from when and if scar gets to be playable I got some in 1.0 so just waiting for scar now

I have Jiyan, Jinhsi and Calcharo. I did that because this way they can share the 5 star Broadblade from Union Rank 45

Changli just want a fusion liberation focus SUB DPS

I have no idea how but I got both Yinlin and Jinshi in 10 pulls with no pity so now I am left with more than 60 pulls, I will continue to save to also get Changli

I really wish WuWa remade the testing of new characters, i'd like it if it had like a .. rental system where you could rent the character for a few hours with somewhat decent echo sets so you can test new characters out on different bosses etc.

Yae Miko vibe + Makima Eye + Blindfold = Must pull , for me at least 🤷🏻‍♀️ i already built Jiyan , Calcharo , Havoc Rover as DPS , i also have Yunlin so i don’t need another DPS for time being. I hope we could have OP support in next patch.

Lost my 50/50 after getting yinlin on 32nd pull, now I have C1 verina. I believe I can get enough astrite for jinhsi if I play all day and get 100 percent exploration

I really never cared about how to lvl up characters and what teams to make in gacha games but i’m act struggling quite a lot can someone help me? (as of now i have been playing for like 9 days and have all characters but changli and 4 other 5 stars)

I get both. The current and future content needs a lot teams. So far I really like Jinhsi. Her skill is sooooo OP. It does a lot more dmg than her ult O.o. Currrently using her with Yinlin and Verina. Maybe will change Yinlin for Changli and move Yinlin to the lightning team with Calcharo.

I got calcharro at 30 pity and literally the next ten pull I double five starred, both jihnsi. So now I have s1 calcharro s1 jihnsi so I’m probably skipping changli for another support. Really hoping camellya isn’t a main dps too

Im currently using an electro team with calcharo and yinlin, but i also got encore with a lucky single pull, so should i try to get jinhsi/changli with her weapon or try for both. and if jinhsi/changli with her weapon which one would be better

I got Jinhsi, I gave her the Jiyan weapon since I'll also get Changli and I want to get Changli's weapon just out of aesthetic (I like Changli more)

got Jinhsi and on the 6th pull i got calcharo so i'll be having both Jinhsi and Changli, even though i really regret getting Jinhsi because i hate her play style (or maybe im just dumb and don't know how to play her) So now i've got 2x Jiyan, 1x Yinlin, 1x Jinhsi and i'll definitely get Changli and her weapon because i'm 72 pity on there, i'm pretty happy lol. And yes, this was all just luck lol, i didn't whale, i only bought that monthly sub.

You had a trial to test her out with... probably should have done that before pulling her. Some people say her animations are overkill, but I personally love it and she can do 391k damage with s0r1 if you play her right.

What if they release Scar and he’s a Fusion main DPS? Should I get changli for him?

I'm a F2P, I have both jiyan and yinlin. Who should I wish jinhsi or Changi? Which one would you recommend?

I'll wait till the last day of Jinshi Banner to see if I have enough for both of them

honestly i might do the same thing, i just cant skip jinhsi 😭🙏 shes just so elegant and does soooo much damage, i literally wanna use Jinhsi + Changli + Encore/Verina but thats probs not a good idea

Mine was a bit of gameplay, and waifu. Gameplay, because the only spectro dps we'd get for awhile, would've been her. Since Rover spectro is competing wirh Havoc Rover, and waifu, because Jinhsi was a love at first sight. Can't say I'm not happy with getting her though!
