"Emily Launcher" was my favorite part of this video. 1000% agree on spoil favorites though. If you're F2P, you can't afford the shiny new toy for every character.

One thing you completely missed is the fact that Glenns weapon is only a 3 ATB cost attack. That is AMAZING! I am definitely putting it on my WL until I get it to OB10.

surprisingly wet suit sephi here is his best costume so far. not a character i care for but i gotta respect the details they put into costume design

@ 6:40 - 👏Say it again for the folks in the back! 👏 Seriously, it's like people don't realize that eventually everyone will be able to do everything (so long as this game is going) "B-bu-but I GoT ZAck AnD GLeNn! 🤪" okay, that's cool but if you like Sephiroth and use him all the time, it's not useless. Not to mention the weapon consolidates things which I look at as a team damage increase overall. I also say that if you have Kuja Blade, this costume paired with Tempest in main hand and Kuja Blade in the off hand makes him a very formidable DPS with support capabilities (think Cloud with Bandage Sword) and I think he'll be insane with this setup when we get Ramuh EX, mark my words. That all said, while I'm hyping him up I do agree with message that it's not a must-pull either. I finally just returned to 100k with the recent gems we got from this Critical Threat event (and I still have more gems to claim through the tower) So my plan is to wait for Summer Banner which I'll pull no matter what for Yuffie and then Vincent!

At this point in time I'm essentially avoiding pulls for anything that isn't waifu material or pulls that are clearly there to just sucker you into the event and then it's useless everywhere else.

I got /very/ lucky on the Cloud/Glenn banner with stamps, so I'm looking forward to wishlisting Slay the Day (love that name btw LOL) the next chance I get. I'm glad these weapons are in the game and not limited. I'm laser focused on Vincent after going all in on tifa/aerith though, I won't be swayed again (probably)

That was me too. XD I went awwllll in on the banner. Would've had OB6 on my kamura wand if I hadn't passed up the 2 red crystal guaranteed 5 stars I had. Still sad about it. Lmao xD

Now I finally have a great off-hand weapon for my water arcanum Glenn! They are finally giving this character some love and I dig that. This weapon is definitely going on my wishlist for future banners!

I squealed with joy when I saw Glenn’s weapon as it a perfect off hand for his LB weapon. Mine is OB7 and it’s just going to take him to the next level. I run him with cloud who I will be pulling his MH weapon to complement his numerous weapons. And then Matt handles the healing with a little bit of atk boost. Easy pull for me

Yeah, this is a damn near perfect setup. The only thing that would make it perfect is if someone was able to Water Breach, haha.

We need more blue crystals!

I think there's a big weak point with Glenn's weapon; the duration of the defense down. With it offset from the water damage buff, AI is going to end up having to reuse the weak ability to maintain the buff/debuff a lot which is going to cut into his damage. Makes me think as nice as Seph is, that Zack with Black Whisker will be a better pair for Glenn so the defense down is just always up.

Obviously we'll need to test this but I really don't think it's an issue. The ability costing 3 ATB is huge so it's understandable somethings gotta give... I really don't think it'll be a damage loss plus the R.Abilities make it the ideal weapon to have in his secondary hand anyway. Just a great weapon for his water build in multiple ways.

@@mariobalaguer3328 Oh it's for sure still a great weapon for his water build. I'm just concerned the AI will find itself in a repeating cycle of alternating each cast, whereas typically you want your main DPS sticking to their high potency hits.

Is why you bring in buff extension r abilities, and the costume already has 10 points into it

Me I’m just like.. another arcanum costume?? Ah gawd damn it.. *pulls for it.. yeah a lot of these are reasons why any character for me can eventually be DPS. Water Tifa, Fire Cloud, Wind Sephiroth, all just as good as the OG Lightning Cloud, Ice Sephiroth =)

Me, who dove in on MonHun and got a OB10 Kamura Wand: Who needs Yuffie when I can just buff them both at the same time? Also, depending on the build giving Sephy his Radiant Edge can help for those without a 5* Slay the Day. Not as AtB efficient, but it does lower foe PDef so can work, plus at high OBs it'll help cap Sephy's PAtk passive.

This costume seems to be confusing a lot of people. Probably because of that crazy puffer jacket. It's a neoprene wetsuit, perfectly appropriate for summer water activities. Wetsuits have booties, too. I can't explain the heels or the puffer jacket, but there rest of it is obviously geared for summer. I haven't decided yet if I want it or not. Cloud's my main water character, but I do use Sephiroth a lot.

@@Dead_Hitori LOL. I know. I like playing Cloud because he hits the hardest out of all my characters. Sephiroth is #2 for me but I use him more as a hybrid, plus I don't have any water arcanum. But dang, I'm saving for the anniversary, I just got to 91K crystals (my personal best!), and it's reeeeally hard to part with them! LOL

I'm not too keen on this. I'll just WL the weapons. I want to go for Vincent but went pretty hard on Tifa/Aerith. Wanna pull for more wands but I def dont wanna miss out on Vincent for sure. Ughhhhh

It almost got me the new sephiroth set but then i remember i have glenn water arcanum. The weapons will come later even if i dont wishlist so skip. If glenn wasnt a water arcanum then i would go for the sephiroth set. Waiting for Barret,Red XIII,Lucia and Vincent turn in sets so i can do it

Is there anywhere with up to date infographs of best weapons for different needs?

Heres a sort of question for you thats kind of in depth. I have 6 weapon exchange tickets. Never used one but I have a good number of them now. But I have no idea who to use them on. My main team is Cloud, Aerith, Sephiroth at 80 with most of their stream unlocked. i.e. just a few nodes missing from tower missions I have Lucia and Tifa also at 80, but their streams are not as far. My aerith swings around between 4-5k phys, 3-4k mag, 3-4k heal. Shes very good at swinging between healing, debuff/buff, or just raw damage. While I like that some characters are these „hybrids“ like Sephiroth, who is a damage dealer with strong debuffing capabilities, I prefer more clear cut roles like Cloud, who is all damage. Another example would be with Aerith‘s new support costume. I hope that they push her more into that direction. I would love to see more elemental debuff weapons on her now as her healing and buffing is already insane. Edit: Also that Buff/Debuff Extension next to a Water Arcanum just looks kinda... wrong (for a lack of better terms)

You said it yourself, Sephiroth is sort of a hybrid unit... The Buff/Debuff extension makes perfect sense, imo. He has multiple ways to utilize it- especially if you pulled for his Kuja Blade. Great set of abilities here.

This water setup is the new meta of sub dps's besides the main dps. It is the same idea like the previous ice zack setup. This isnt meant to replace your main dps, it gets clearer with the buff/debuff extension passive on the gear aswell maximizing your damage otherwise he'd have the phy cmd pot. ability.

I was thinking of not pulling because I already have a pretty powerful Sephiroth from Anniversary but then I realized “damn it, he’s my main and with water arcanum I can use him in fights”. I do have Glenn but there’s nothing like using your main in a fight.

Company branded gear is tricky. Let's say you like the jacket and it's part of your wardrobe rotation. But, you leave the company to join a competitor, assuming there isn't a non-compete clause. You rush out the door grabbing said jacket not really thinking about the previous company's brand, and show up to a Monday morning management meeting. You get these weird looks not knowing why. The worst part is you received the current company's branded jacket, so to them, it looks like you actively chose the previous company's jacket. Now, you have explaining to do. :)

You should wishlist for Green megaphone and flower vase on caith sith if you haven’t already, that combo is totally broken when paired with water tifa

No for Seph if you have Seph past Ice Arcanum already. If you don't, can pull for the costume "only" and not the physical weapon, go for Glenn weapon instead on 1st page, but, No for Glenn weapon if you don't have his LB weapon. So go for Seph 1st page weapon if no Glenn LB weapon.

The way I look at banners is : "Do I have a character that does this?" If not then I pull. I do not care about pulling for my "favorite" character, I go for utility. I completely skipped Zachs MH costume and weapon because I have Cloud and I wanted to wait for Tifa/Aerith. I pulled HARD on Tifa because I did not have a Magic Lighting user(We don't have any real good Lighting magic damage weapons in this game right now anyway, they are all Thundaga doing AOE damage). I'm skipping this banner completely because I have Water Glenn, Water Cloud, and Water Tifa with Zach Black Whisker and Cait Siths Water Mag/Debuff weapon for support. I really don't need anything from this banner.

If Sephiroth’s going to be spamming the weapon ability it seems like a waste to have buff extension. I really want a physical water arcanum but this build is a just little underwhelming overall..

Normally, I would cave my blue crystals for Sephiroth but ... I do agree that costume looks eh on him. So easy skip for me.

Glenn is tho with his limit break weapon. U can think of Sephiroth as a red 13 support for this banner. He will help lower water resistance and defense
