A pet cannot look after you when you're sick or look after you when you're older. The Dog cannot even say thank you when you do nice things for it. Animals should be treated very well but not the same as a human.

A mute adult cannot say thank you. Should they be treated less than because they can't care for their elderly parents?

Thank you! We've always had pets and I've grown up with them. Now, one is 11 yrs old, (our cat) and the other is 14 yrs (our dog). They are family and we love them. So, it was me, my mom, dad, siblings and our pets. **ALSO, I may catch your virus, cold or flu but in 14 yrs., I've NEVER caught anything from our 2 family doggies or 2 family kitties.

True, a dog and a child are two different things. But is it so hard to believe that someone would spend an extraordinary amount of money to save a friend they've know for years? I have a dog that I've had from 6 weeks old, and she is now in her teens. If God forbid she ever gets cancer or needs surgery, I will do everything in my power to help her, regardless of her saying 'thank you' or not. and FYI, I'm Asian too.

THIS👏👏 she wasn't just okay with her husband hunting she went with him on countless occasions and joined him on his 'hobby' of murdering and mutilating defenceless animals for fun! She even happily posed smiling and proud for photos infront of their lifeless bodies!absolutely sickening! She also posed for a photo in front of the animals they'd killed and had stuffed and displayed in their home, they showed the picture on the real one day and all joked and laughed about it together! disgusting evil scum of the earth!

Not a hunter, but knew several that did. Hunting is usually a form of survival and helps forrests from becoming over populated and causing deer to get sick and affect other deer or deforestation due to food shortage. Also indigenous people hunt because they need fur and food to survive and part of their heritage. In fact you'll find hunters are more respectful to the lives of the animals they hunt more than most parks or zoo keepers. It's only there to protect other deer and people. But just for sport? just a huge no no.

When I had dogs, I would let them sleep in the bed with me. They were cuddly and warm and we would bond that way. My pets will always be equal to me. It's even to the point where if you had to save me or my dog, get my dog out before you get me bro! 😅😂

Adrienne is totally right on this one. You can't love a pet more than your child. Like that's your spawn, your seed, your blood. The one that will carry your name for generations to come. A dog is dog. Or a pet is just a pet. Yes it can get people through some hard times but that's about it. You're aren't gonna see them in the after life either. And some of you take it too far treating your pets better than your friends or people on the street but that's none of my business.

I had my English Bulldog 3 years before I had my son. I literally thought of my dog as my child... until my son came along. There's no words to describe the amount of love I have for my son. Do I still love my dog..yeah, but it's nowhere NEAR the love I have for my son.

Before I got my two kittens, I could totally relate to Adrienne. I used to side eye people treating their pets like kids, and dressing them up in clothes. I'm unable to have kids now so my kittens are my little family. I love them dearly and they've grown on me. I have a slew of nieces and nephews, but I know the distinction. Animals are lovely companions, but at the end of the day, they aren't people. Although, it's funny how as humans we (some of us) treat animals with more respect than our fellow man.

Amen! I have two kittens too. Well kinda I have a two year old cat and a 10 month old cat, they are rescues, I call them my children. I wouldnt put them before a human being but b/c I love them and its just me and them I do consider them family. I wouldnt put them before a child but I dont have any kids yet so its ok.

Adrienne has NO concept of how much you can love your pet. My cat IS my child. Quite literally. You do not have to give birth in order to have a child. And just because you have a child does not mean that you love them. I get what she's saying... but who is she to determine how much people love their pets. I know that if anything were to happen to my pets, I would be devastated on an unimaginable level.. just as if something had happened to my biological child. LOVE is LOVE, no matter if it's for a human being or an animal.

***** I have a 13 year old cat, I love her to pieces. She sleeps with me and gets excited when I come home. I talk to her (lol) and show her off to all my friends and I really cant imagine not having her with me. BUT she's a cat. and I don't see myself spending thousands of dollars on her medical bills if she ever gets really sick. I would just put her down if she got some serious medical condition because 1. I don't want to see her suffer 2.i cant even explain to her why shes sick/in pain 3. shes a cat. and I could be using that money on my education or in case an actual human family member got sick.... its sad, but I can always get another cat, I cant get another sister/dad/aunt etc.

Adrienne... imma have to disagree with you girl. My chihuahua is very much LIKE a child to me. I say like because i am 21 and dont have any kids but i care for her the way i imagine a mother cares for a human baby. lol. She DOES have her own bed but sometimes she's cold or lonely and cries to get on my bed so i put her up. I feed her at a set time twice a day, i brush her teeth (dogs breath can be horrible!), bathe her, wipe her paws when she comes from outside (i got white carpet and dont wear shoes in the house so we aint playin around over here) i get her annual vaccines, she takes daily vitamins for small breed dogs, she has a regular vet she sees when she gets sick (thankfully doesn't happen often), and when I'm gone for long periods of time she usually has someone looking out for her. The ONLY thing is when Jennie mentioned the 14k for dogs cancer treatments. My dog came down with mast cell cancer and was in a lot of pain, even AFTER cancer treatments he would not even be cured... just more comfortable. treatment costs a lot so we unfortunately had to put him down. its never an easy decision to make.. so in THAT, TO ME, animals and humans are different.

Kids suck. They say kids will take care of you when you're old and that's such bullshit. I've taken care of the disabled and the elderly. Their kids weren't around but strangers sure were. Kids grow up and have their own lives to worry about. People think they're going to be so secure in their old age if they have kids. Truth is, they won't. They'll be in nursing homes too.

I support Adrienne, a child is different from an animal but sometimes people treat their pet more than their kids and that's just wrong. (In my opinion don't judge)

i think that it is very possible to love your child as much as your dog, but in two different ways. does that make sense? like the bond between parent and child and fur parent and fur babies are without a doubt different. BUT to say a dog is less because its an animal does offend a lot of people including myself. i had my pets before i had children and the bond we shared is so strong considering how long they were in my life. and its even stronger now when i see my children connecting and bonding with them. nothing makes me happier. so i understand that there is a DIFFERENCE but coming from a true animal lover, i dont ever want to see the day where i would have to pick because i love my children and pets (who are like my children) with all of my being. DIFFERENTLY, sure, but the magnitude of love is the same :) i think everyones on a spectrum when it comes to their feelings about animals. so with that being said i can understand people who are extreme with how they treat their pets and i can also understand people who wouldnt take things to an extreme level. what i just hope everyone can agree on is that pets are very much deserving of love and care even if its more minimal. :)

I understansd what you are saying even if I don't agree at all. You see, I have an African background in my family so to me, it just doesn't make sense to even life in the same house as a animal at all. In my head, they belong outside. (That's an African viewpoint). Now, I grew up in a western country (Canada) and they do keep dogs all year long (especially during winters) and many times I went to my friends's houses, the number of dogs and cats that I saw kind of traumatized me a lot. I admit dogs can be cute but whenever I was walking around, I either see them or hear them. When it comes to animals with babies, I can't even. I see it as inappropriate, off-limits. But I won't bash animals lovers like you since I had friends like this either.

Lol I felt victimized when they all said no to pets sleeping on the bed. I love my three babies so much and I cuddle with all of them at night and I’m proud ❤️

I love my cat so much, he is my baby. I don't have children. However if I did I would not get rid of my cat. People think that they love their pet equal to their child. I think it's not that they are loved equally but they are loved uniquely. Because if they absolutely had to choose between an animal (no matter how loved) and their human child they would choose their human child. Humans and animals are not equal. But the emotional connection we develop with our pets can become so strong that they are like our children (LIKE being the key word). If I was financially able to and my cat needed expensive medical care I would indeed spend it, if God willed it.

My darling pup was almost ten when I had my human children and she was and still is my first baby and love of my life! never ever would I have changed the way I treated her or loved her any less just because I had children. because I knew it was going to be such a huge change and stressful experience for her I made sure I was extra attentive and gave her lots of TLC i also made sure to keep everything the same for her from her routine to where she slept & the time we played and went for walks. Anyone who would do any different in my opinion should not be blessed with the unconditional love of an animal, they are the only beings in my opinion who really do display _true_ unconditional love and the least we can do is love and treat them as they do us 🐶❤😻

Adrienne is right! My fave Latina chic is right! You simply cannot love a pet as much you'd love a child that you carried and gave birth to after 9 months..it's not the same. People that have pets and love them like children might not have children so they wouldn't understand. Who the hell doesn't let their animal sleep with them. My cats sleep with me every single night and I'm judging everyone who doesn't let their pet sleep with them. My cats are my babies and my dog would sleep with me if he could walk up stairs and wasn't blind

thank you a lot of the things they said were insensitive!! my brothers is physically disabled and his Guard dog is like our Brother! we actually payd nearly 10.000 for his treatment. he didn't have to say thank you.. what he does for my brothers and the happiness he brought to him was more than enough!

SimmyZBalla It was very offensive. They acted as though animals were nothing and not worthy of special care. They obviously are clueless regarding the bonding between pets and families, many with kids. Many pets live indoors and sleep at the foot of moms', dads' and kids' beds every night. These kids and their families love their four legged family members and they don't send them to doggie hotels for 3 months because they messed up. Maybe the dog needs training, some attention and affection, or just needs to go out for a walk to potty. And Adrienne seemed callous, uncaring, insensitive and clueless....and I was offended and disturbed by her apparent ignorance regarding pets and her lack of compassion and sensitivity.

as a single person, if i had a dog then i would love it like a child but if i actually had my own child and a dog then no way would i love my dog as much as my own child. Adrienne makes perfect sense to me.

One time, when I was walking on the street, I saw a lady who carry her little doggie in her arm while dragging her daughter along. In other words, she was carry the dog while her little daughter had to walk, and her daughter was less than 5 years old. For me, that's a bit too much!

A child of 5 should be walking way before that anyway though. Dogs should walk on their own aswell. If you baby a child it is bad specially since toddlers from a certain age can walk and dogs can use their own legs aswell.

I'm with Adrienne on this one. I have cats and I love them but, not like I love my kids.

I agree with Adrienne. Pets are not children. No matter how much you love them/they love you, they're still pets. I believe that animals should be loved and cared for, but to compare them to your children is just not right. Even if you can't have/don't want children, that's fine but your poodle that you bought at pets mart is not the same as bearing a child.

They are not our children, they are our pets And they are part of the family, we are responsible to take care of them, feed them, getting them to vet appointments, bathing them, taking them out for walks... And they do say thank you in their own language ❤

That is crazy i love my dog like my Child. They have feeling's like people do if you step on there paw they cry out in pain and no what love is and when they are not being loved.. Some people just can't read dog's like other's can if you don't feed them they get hungry... They are like toddlers in a lot of way's if we don't take care of them they can die. My baby sleeps in my bed and i give her lot's of bath's and make sure her paw'a and butt is clean if she can't clean it well she will let me do anything i want to do her and i am her mommy so i will do it i love her to piece's and i would go broke if it mean's i could save her life. She is not just a dog she is so much more if you only could understand.

i usually dont comment on videos but i had to on this one cause reading some of these comments below were annoying me. i find it so ignorant that people are saying this is a "white people thing" its a personal perspective kind of thing. i love and adore my dog and animals with all my heart. i dont think people are crazy for loving their pets as much as their child. it is a being they take care of, love and share their lives with. just because they're not "human flesh" doesnt make them a lesser being than ourselves. we all (living beings) play a role into this world, whether it be a president or a therapy dog or even just to balance out the planet (ecosystem). animals are amazing creatures and dogs are truly the most unconditional loving beings who share such warm compassion that have won my heart over forever. i will always love my dog as if she were another child of mine, except shes furry and barks (:

so people r saying its ok to love ur baby whom u brought to life less than a dog whom u picked up at a pet shop because that dog was cute? any parents that r not ready to love their children unconditionally and wouldn't make them their first priority should not give birth to a child, because u decided to bring that child to life that child didn't, and that goes for all the parents who neglect their child,love their child less than their pets, unsure about if they can give that child a good life or give birth just to drop them at a orphanage. because its painful to know the people who brought u to life dont care about u or dont love u unconditionally. and if a dog and ur baby is the same then go get one more dog instead.

Adrienne, I am disappointed in your ignorant statement. Some people do not want to have kids, and prefer the company of a friendly dog. Animals do matter just because they cannot speak, it does not make them inferior. Obviously, a mother is not going to love a dog more than her children. A dog or a cat is still a family member. I am glad Lonnie agrees with that.

I guess I'm not sane because my house dog was like a brother to me....I had to share food with and so fourth. If I accidentally stepped on his feet, if I yelled at him, if I called him a name I had to apologize. like his feelings would be hurt. He would lower his head and run to mom or his little corner, he wouldn't entertain you or pay you any mind until you apologized. He was mom's baby, like for real.

Dev Lamont I had a Rottweiler and I love her to pieces yes she sleep with me she always was on her flea med and when she died I cry like a baby.

I love my dog. I worked at an animal shelter for eight years, as well as worked as an animal grommer. If you think your pet is equal to your child, you need counseling.

This episode just showed how cruel and ignorant most of these ladies are. Why can‘t people love dogs as much as children?? Also Adrienne kept motioning birth movements with her hands as if to say all children come from natural birth...what about adopted children??! bah, they know nothing about love...only Loni seemed to be the smart, sensible one here (as always).

No shade but I agree with Adrienne on this one. Some y'all know you feed your pets before your child or would save your pet before your own child or die trying to save both I just can't relate I'm sorry.

I have 3 cats that I love so much, they are my babies. I used to sleep with them in the bed but I started closing my door because sometimes they are vomiting and stuff and I need to make sure they’re clean first before letting them in lol. They’re my babies. I cry/feel terrible when any small thing happens to them, like minor things. But at the same time, I know if I had a child it would be an even more intense bond, that’s just natural :P

I would love to have children and a dog but let's be clear, EVEN STEVIE WONDER CAN SEE THERE'S A DIFFERENCE! I understand that people can develop an emotional connection to animals once, or even before they are bought/adopted. There is nothing wrong with that because they deserve to be loved and nurtured too. It's your responsibility to take care of them and keep them in good health. I think the responsibilities are the same for a baby, the attachment is different. For those who have pets and no children, THEIR PETS ARE THEIR CHILDREN. FOR THOSE WHO HAVE BOTH, IT'S DOUBLE THE WORK! I agree with them, I would not allow my dog in my bed, does not mean I don't love him/her :-)

Im sorry but the way the audience reacted to what Adrienne said was ridiculous. Theres nothing wrong with loving your pet but if you love your dog more than you love your own child, there is something seriously wrong with you!

I don't think Adrienne was saying that you can't love and cherish a pet like family, she's just saying you can't see your dog as a child in comparison to a human baby. It's not really that big of a deal, why do people care so much how she sees your relationship to your dog?

Meanwhile my pets are my babies. I will go cuddle with them now. My cat felt so disrespected he left the room 🤔🤣😢

Adrienne has a point. I don't see why people are getting upset over nothing. Yes, you show love to both but when it comes down to it, your baby matters most. Point blank. Those who love their pets alot are usually single and independent people. But once you have a kid of your own, it changes everything.

I had a Shih Tzu dog once, so I understand how you can grow close to a pet. I also have a fish that's nice to look at swim, but I will always have the most love for my child than a pet.

I loved my guinea pig like he were my child. I know he wasn't a human child, and I didn't treat him like one either, because he was a guinea pig. But I still raised him from 2 months old, to the ripe old age of 6 years old, I taught him to be a good boy, though that was already in his nature, I fed him, I cleaned up after him, did his laundry (fleece cage liners) gave him his daily supplements which treated his chronic bladder stones, gave him medicine when he needed it, I even whiped his bottom before we had those supplements to treat his bladder stone issue. I comforted him when he was scared, I protected him, I kept him mentally stimulated, got him toys, gave him shows, a stuffed guinea pig to snuggle with and mirrors to substitute for another guinea pig to keep him company (He did not get along with real guinea pigs, I tried). Let me tell you guinea pigs are not low maintenance pets if you actually care for them properly, but they are so worth it. But yes, I did all those things for him, and we had such a strong bond, he trusted me wholeheartedly, which is saying a lot, because guinea pigs are prey animals, so they are naturally timid. But he, Kona was so brave, outgoing, and boisterous, and I hope that my care helped him be so open and show his goofy personality to the world. He was smart, silly, with the big tough guy type personality, throwing his weight around, while also being dramatic and a momma's boy. And I treated him like an intelligent, loving creature, who loved me in return. He was my baby, and I miss him everyday.

Loni and Tamera are the only one that had sense. I usually agree with these girls but obviously they just don't get it. I'm sorry, but yes my animals get to sleep in the bed with me. Its not nasty and they don't bring in millions of germs on their paws, we go more places so we are actually the filthy ones, its not dirty if you do simple routine cleaning. If I had 14k to spend on my animals, then yes I'm going to do it. My animals are definitely my children, and yes it is the same thing, I just don't have to send one to college. If you are a good owner there's more to owning an animal than just feeding it. It's ALOT of work. They are the reason i get out of bed in the morning. And Tamar just wrong for dumping that dog at the pound because no one wanted to train it. You know they don't come potty trained right? You have to teach them that. So yes, animals are like children in ways. Sorrynotsorry.

I Would say that me and my animal friends are a team. I will treat my dog like a dog, not a baby. The dog wants respect just like we do as humans. They might not speak our language but they sure as hell know how to read our energy and emotions, just like we could if we payed more attention to them. If we just looked a little closer.

I agree with Adrienne to the point that dogs and children are not the same thing. A dog is a canid animal and a child is a human. They are fed differently, taking care of differently, and generally taught different. However, a dog can be loved like a child because some people don't like kids but love their pets.

I'm with Adrienne on this. Pet is NOT equal to a child. Nothing wrong with treating the animal well, but come on!!

The issue is when people put their pets over humans. A dog’s desire to be pet is not more important than my desire not to pet it. It is an animal; I am a person. To act otherwise is an insult to the person. Money, toys - whatever. But when there is a conflict, people are more important than animals. Period.

With my dog, we trained him that after he comes from being outside he has to wait by the door while we get him a wipe to clean his paws.

Adrienne was my favorite until this.. not anymore.
