2MD would be such a fun game with multiplayer. The receiver mode is already good, imagine being able to warp as a DB and attempt to bat down the ball.

Good review. I feel like in some aspects this game took a step back, but there are some features that I like. Even with the patch, still find some glitches. The new ball box in shotgun also really annoys me. Game shows promise but man can it be frustrating. Thank god I got the free code.

i got the game and i throw the ball to a wide open dude and then it goes straight to a defender that wasnt even near him

Does the defense ever blitz? I'm disappointed that you can't call defensive plays. It would be fun to call zone and man-to-man and blitzes to confuse your opponent. How hard is that to implement?

I’m slow but I’m pretty they switch from 3 rushers to 4 rushers to 6(a blitz)

I just bought nfl pro era 2 yesterday and it was pretty fun then nfl pro era 1

Nfl pro era 1 is one of this months quest+ games

So what I saw from the trailer was is you can be other positions. So my question is can I play other positions or be on ST and play during kickoff cause I saw that in the trailer as well.

Yes, there are different ratings for players/teams i play as the steelers and the OLINE doesn't hold up which is very on par with the real team

I keep getting a bug on my season game where i get to the 3rd qtr and cant hit the “break” button to call a play… i end up getting delay of game till i get a safety has anyone had this issue? Ive looked everywhere for a fix but have seen nobody talking about it

Given that you've played Pro Era 2 and 2MD which would you overall recommend? Is 2MD's main drawback the worse graphics and lack of NFL license? I heard it has better throwing/handling. Does it have a career mode?

Good question, 2md has a tournament mode so kind of. You can draw your own plays,play WR, customize your team(slightly), great ai all around and has more then just exhibition game modes that are really fun. The bad things however are the graphics, controls(very disorienting) and feels weird to throw the ball if you ask me. For 15$ it’s worth a try if you ask me and pro era has a bigger community with the nfl license so if you enjoy the NFL at all get pro era.

As someone who has played both. 2MD is a much more simulation style game despite not having an NFL license and a more 'arcade like look'. You throw to receivers based on leverage against the coverage. 2MD to me is still the supreme football game for VR. I really wouldn't even say it's close to be honest. If you remove the NFL license from pro era you wouldn't have people buying it. A lot players (especially who play more nfl pro era) consider the throwing to be 'weird' in 2MD, it is 100% just a more accurate throwing system. You can place the ball exactly where you want it. There is no pass assist in the game as you saw in this video. So the learning curve is much steeper but there's no better feeling than hitting a perfect back shoulder throw in 2MD. 2MD is by far the better game, pro era has a ton of potential. But if you're only buying one, 2MD is the better game. If 2MD had multiplayer it would quite literally be almost a perfect VR game to me.

I have the Oculus Quest 3. Should I get Pro Era II on the Meta Quest store or the Steam VR store??

If you get it on meta quest then it will be a much faster option to get into the game and get going but stream vr may make it run smoother or look better but quest 3 a great option so almost a no hrainer

That might be because of the game mode, when it’s easier they slow everything down

I’ve heard a a lot of people complain about that

I felt like the throwing power was a big turnoff for me in pro era 1, every time I’d throw a 3-5 yard route the ball would be laser beamed, and with deep balls downfield I would always overthrow , sometimes I’d throw it in the stands. There’s no touch on the throw at all. is this still a problem in pro era 2?

It’s still off and it feels like it changes with every update. You can put more touch on your throws but the WR ai won’t recognize it sometimes

@@axolootlvr I actually just caved and bought the game today, the throwing feels better but it’s def a mechanic I had to practice because you can’t throw like you would throw a football irl. It’s not the games fault more of a hardware problem it’s just a hard habit to break. I’ve been playing on PSVR2 and the graphics are incredible. Players heights are very off tho and Most if not all of the problems in this vid are still the same

the WRs have a much larger brain capacity in pro era 2, theres also things like juking, fumbles, dropped passes, etc but also when your on the run the WRs will try to get open and actually go to the ball way more than in pro era 1. you can add some touch to it as well, but obviously not advanced. although we are in the very early stages of meta, just give it some time.

as a player it’s worth it to me

if i got it on steam is it cross play with people who only play on the quest

I wouldn't play the multiplayer. I can already see them constantly scrambling with little to any consequence. And i can tell The A.I. doesn't respond quick enough to contain it.

This is genuinely one of the worst reviews I’ve ever seen of a sports game tbh. Just a clown with no energy not even trying to play sim. He needs to thank his lucky stars there’s not too much footage out rn only reason he’s getting views.

This game has some bugs like Daniel Carlson being black and being over weight but besides that I’m super happy with this game

1:15 2MD has jumbotron style cameras on the field to see everyone instead of your jersey and is half the price. I'll stick with it. Multiplayer is kinda lame. I wanted to be free safety or do blitzes on defense.

I feel like Pro Era can learn a lot from 2MD, I consider 2MD more fun, the only thing it's missing is an online mode. Pro Era needs the ability to catch and run the ball as a receiver

I have a question. Did you notice if the cornerbacks are any better at catching? I would have seasons in single player where I would only throw two picks in the season when I really should’ve thrown 15. Their inability to catch makes the game too easy for me.

Plenty of recent reviews still call Pro Era 1 buggy. And mostly that was brain dead AI ruining the game. That's the reason why I never bought it. Hopefully this is better. Wanna see what kind of sweat I can get with treadmill. Thirty euros ain't bad if there is actual content. But yeah they could have just patched the original and gotten sales while it improved.

I'm looking for a little more realism. The fact you can just always roll out of the pocket like the video is so unrealistic. Hopefully the harder the difficulty the harder they make it to just leave the pocket and not get punished for it. There's a time for it, but in real world you'll get punished for it.
