I bought one of these and a mayflash f300 elite and a magic s pro adapter... You can plug the mayflash into the ps5 and then use the madcatz via the magic s through the mayflash stick. It works great!

I was concerned about connecting it to ps4 but its not as bad as i thought so thanks for the thorough review and in South Africa this is the same price as a qanba drone so its not a bad first stick here😂

The responsiveness is great. IF there is lag, it's not noticable at all. I do however only really use this stick on PC. It works well on switch but I don't recommend it for Xbox or PlayStation. If you're getting this solely for PC, then I highly recommend this stick

Thx for the video can it fit a Seimitsu LS-32 or LS-40 with an S-Plate?

I don't see why it wouldn't 🤔 But that'll have to be something you check out on your own

I would avoid most of the arcade stick controllers that require you to plug in a regular controller into them and stick with the ones that do not require you to plug in a regular controller into them. It's like plugging a Wii or Wii U arcade stick controller into a Wii Remote/Wii Remote Plus.

If you're using this as a pc only stick then it's really good actually. I too wouldn't recommend this stick for Playstation or Xbox. Oddly enough this stick works just fine on switch without the need for a controller

Went back to my Qanba Carbon and put it on eBay. LOL!

Monoprice just released a clone of this that's $119. Scored one for $90 👍🏿.

My just bought MadCatz Ego only works without problems and bound controller on my Gaming-Laptop. On Nintendo Switch and XBOX ONE Series X it does not work, even if I plugged in the controllers. On XBOX One Series X it then worked as I plugged in an older version of the controller with the small "USB" Pin... the newer XBOX Controllers and the Switch Controller need a cable with an USB-C Pin, but such cables seem not to work with the MadCatz Ego. So I can only use it on Laptop and XBOX SX. I also tried an alternative Hori Nintendo Switch Controller with a fixed cable, but this also does not work. I am wondering that there is nothing to be found about that problem in the internet / youtube!?

I've tested the EGO on an original Xbox one, series x, PS4 slim and PS4 pro and it worked just fine. It's most likely an issue with your cable. The ego also doesn't need to be connected to a controller to work on switch. Plugging it into the dock and holding the pair button on the stick in the upper right corner will connect it for you.

If you have a desk then I absolutely recommend the EGO fightstick. The angle is undeniably comfortable for your wrists during longer play sessions. However, if your budget doesn't allow it then the TES+ is fine too

has anyone tested it with the PS5 though? In South Africa, we struggle to get fight sticks from reputable places. I recently found a store and they have one of these.

It won't work on PS5 Only fightsticks officially licensed by Sony will work on PS5. It's very stupid nonsensical requirement

@@TebohoMokuena If it's an officially licensed PS4 stick, then it'll only work on PS5 for PS4 games not PS5. The box needs to to say PS5 for you to be sure

If you're only on pc then this is a pretty good stick option. Especially if you have a desk setup
