I love this bag, and have been keeping a watch on the Fendi website....love both the new pink as well as the purple. This bag is SO tempting! I think Cassie said on one of her recent videos, she's a magpie and is drawn to anything sparkly, which I can relate to!

I think I’m going to call my SA at Fendi NYC and see if there is any chance I can get one. Won’t care about color the Purple or Hot Pink are both cute. How beautiful is it!!?

I am in the US and pre-ordered mine right around Christmas (second release) and it arrived close to New Years. I carried it for the first time yesterday to Target and everyone turned their heads even my almost one year old :). I was scared to use it at first and told myself to use it at least once and if I didn’t like it I would sale it. Well this baby is staying! As you mentioned, I do also like to carry this handheld and that says alot for a person who mainly wears cross bodies because of my very busy little one but there is something about this bag that doesn’t look right with the long strap. I watched your unboxing 10+ times before I pulled the trigger to actually buy it then, Karen just push me over the edge when she posted her unboxing haha.

Yes there is definitely that sentimental attachment to it - it came at the perfect time for me when I had to cancel my 40th birthday trip to NYC and this was the perfect nod to New York and way too celebrate!

I am a sag girl as well 😁 I just like them less structured. I carried my Speedy all weekend and the only reason I would get an organiser is to find things easier in the bag.

It's essential to open the vent in the vacuum cleaner to reduce the intensity of the suction. Otherwise the entire handbag could get sucked up....! Size 16 or 14 are average sizes in Australia. I'm all for celebrating who you are and how you are. (Anyone who needs to put someone down to feel good doesn't have the right focus.

Not available here in USA to pre order yet. I saw IG private shoppers affering to pre order in Europe. I wish I new a SA in Fendi here to see if we are going to be able to pre order. I dont want to miss the boat again. Love the bag and the story behind it. Love to get bags that I can say something about them and agree with 100% that sometimes the classic with a twist is definitively more fun.

@@DaylesAddiction so, update. Here in USA up to now, as of yesterday, a SA confirmed the sequins baguette that we can pre order is the new hot pink that Carrie uses on new episodes. What’s your opinion in that one?

Great video. My sequined Le Pliage has thrown me into a sequin frenzy and I've been looking at a sequined bag from Gedebe that reminds me a lot of your Fendi. Still on the fence about it (need to see it in person) but can't stop thinking about it.

I always find that I’d they have free returns I’ll just buy it and send it back without fear if I don’t like it. Much easier than shopping in person!

@styledbygwenny The pink and purple sequin baguettes are on the Fendi uk website but the pink is out of stock and the purple pre-order only but from a store (can’t be pre-ordered online) unfortunately there is a 6 month wait if pre-ordered in store. Mine is due to arrive in September. The only downside is no exchange or refund if pre-ordered in store 😬

@wendybache I tried the Fendi sequin baguette in store at the weekend (the new collection - mini baguette in mint green) and the sequins don’t scratch, they’re very soft and amazing quality.

Thank you, this was very interesting! I just bought the nano version 😍 however, I have to say that I ordered it online and I had to order it three (!) times to get one without quality issues… somehow on the other ones the shape was strange or the sequins were damaged :(

That’s so interesting- I’m hearing a lot from people outside Australia primarily that the condition of bags bought online has been really terrible and they’ve been packaged badly. Such a shame for delicate and expensive bags.

Of course. The main issues were the crooked shape (on one side higher than one the other), the sequins were scratched, bent or discoloured and on one bag the clasp was stuck (could not be opened) :( I hope you have more luck with the order, I would be interested to know!
