cool builds dood, I don't have a bike yet and as a renter in a tiny apartment my tools are pretty limited so getting a surron or telaria for my first bike is probably in the cards. someday if/when I have a garage or yard i would love to do this with the confidence of a welder and drill press etc. looking forward to when there are enough parts and kits available to "erector set" one of these up with just a set of wrenches.

I’d rather build….it gives me the chance of building something different than the rest. I’m mechanically inclined to fix anything that goes wrong….and gives me more experience in knowing how they work. That’s how I see building my own stealth bomber clone….it Turns heads, goes fast enough 61MPH’ it used to do only 51mph because there was a short in the battery connector’ I hate the T-90 connectors’ the already built ones use them….they need to start using anderson 120v connectors. I had a few problems in my build’ one was using weak brakes, narrow stock MTB tiress with stock inter tubes’ I gained 15 more pounds, and I can barely hit 60MPH but with the hook worm road tires….it runs smoothly. Every clone build is not the same….and everyone who builds these use they’re own paint scheme, and Prefer parts….mine is built for road riding, and light gravel trails….I also used lighter and strong parts….unfortunately ppl are starting to follow suit and use homemade ABS plastic panels😢 I use them for lightness, and incase you’re batter burst in flames….it melts the plastic away, and allows you to dump the battery….this should save your frame, and maybe rear hub. The cost of my build is $2690 if it wasn’t for ordering the wrong things would’ve knocked off $110 dollars. The frames has went up in price…mine cost $350 now they cost over $400….I have the NB power 3000w kit…cost $750….but on alibaba You can get a kit with the front rim.

I will go with the option of buying from alibaba over building one on a heartbeat. No headaches or issues cuz the bike is well put together whereas when building it lotta things can go wrong like what happened in ur case with breaking the motor cable. Also when u build these bikes where do u think these parts are coming from ?? They r all from China whether u buy from Amazon or alibaba or aliexpress … so the “con” of buying cheap Chinese parts is existent whether u buy or build .at the end of the day , buying from a manufacturer is much more suitable especially 2 years warranty on the battery and motor regardless of the mileage u put on the bike . Warranty starts from the day u receive the bike

Hi friend, I confirm, it's a real experience to build your own Bomber, and it allows you to personalize it, 'I chose by taking time, all my parts trying to find a good quality/price ratio, and frankly, I'm happy with my Bomber and I'll never buy one fully assembled, I have 2 friends who have done it and who have the same as mine, only they are much less well equipped. I would say the only drawback in France is that these Bombers are all assembled or you assemble them yourself, we cannot approve them, so no gray card, no insurance, no license plate and if I get checked I will surely have a fine of 3500 euros, whereas I have had my large displacement motorcycle license since 1988 and I have done almost 17 years of large displacement, and it annoys me not to be able to be within the rules.
